We only stayed here to get an early start into Death Valley. If I would have had the time to find out more information and prices about the smaller motels in this town we probably would have stayed in one of them. The check-in clerk was very friendly and helpful, the lobby seemed fine. There is no elevator. We checked...

Thank you for your stay with us! You brought several factors to our attention that you encountered during your stay with us. I can only hope that while we are in the process of upgrading, the mainstays of our hotel shined through: customer service, comfort, and cleanliness! As you stated, the upcoming changes don't necessarily affect you at this time,...

We stayed here for one night on the way to Death Valley. We had a kingsize room at the back of the hotel, which was very comfortable and clean. Fortunately there were plenty of rooms when we arrived but the place soon filled up, so you might want to book ahead. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed...

I called the hotel directly to check their best rates, then went on line to the Comfort Inn website where a prepaid reservation cost a LOT less. Lone Pine accommodations must be quite competitive, as the hotels I've stayed try very hard to please (and they succeed). This Comfort Inn is well outside of town, which can be a positive...

We arrived at this hotel en route to Death Valley with lillte in the way of expectations, but ended up staying an extra night as it was so good. Nothing fancy, but good, clean, comfortable, quiet modestly priced accomodation, complimentary breakfast, a great location close to the Alabama hills and Mt Whitney (great views from the 2nd floor rooms) as...

The thing about Comfort Inns is that you pretty much get a consistently good room. Nothing terribly fancy, but clean, responsive staff and reasonable. This Comfort Inn had a better breakfast than we normally get at a comfort Inn. Quite a bit of variety. I would stay at this one again.

This is an older hotel, but super, super quiet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room's smoke detector battery needed replacing, and began the intermittant beeping every few minutes--beginning around 4 a.m. When we checked out, I told the woman at the front desk that maintenance needed to replace the battery. She was very apologetic, and actually knocked...

We arrived late at this hotel when driving through Death Valley the whole day. This hotel is located almost on the corner of the road which leads to DV. So it's easy to find after a whole day driving. We had a room at the back which was quit, clean and had a nice view. The bed was comfortable. The...
