We stayed here three nights in the Maverick room. We thoroughly enjoyed this B&B and our room, which was big enough for two of us. First of all, it's very colorful and amusing. There's colorful, artsy, fun, interesting pieces/lights/lamps/ posters everywhere. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and everything you needed was in the room.... Thanks for the thoughtful comments. You mentioned the Roosevelt Hotel. This house was built in 1912 on the property where their pool is today. It was moved in 1947. More

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 10 April 2016

The Hollywood Bed & Breakfast was a perfect home base for our family's spring break holiday in the Los Angeles area. The house is just a short distance west of the main Hollywood Blvd. strip (Madam Tussaud's, TCL Theatre, El Capitan Theatre, etc.), and convenient to plenty of restaurants. We ended up going to Venice and Santa Monica, downtown Los... More

Comfortable and convenient! Wonderful place hidden right off the strip. Breakfast was simple and healthy. It is decorated with a happy spirit. We slept well. I'll definitely be back. Parking was tight and a puzzle but not worth complaining about. It was free in LA. What more could you ask for?

Hubby and I so loved Hollywood B&B; we felt well looked-after, comfortable, and really at home here. Nina's and William's ability to up-cycle, along with the amount of memorabilia, artistry and decorative imagination, is remarkable and we found everything so beautiful and interesting to look at - theatrical, almost. We would recommend this B&B to all except those who might... More

Very observant of you. We do reach for the "theatrical" presentation, Nina has a masters in theater arts, and I spent my career in visual design. We love to make the ordinary into the extraordinary. More

We stayed at the Hollywood B&B for 2 nights on our arrival into LA and we loved loved loved it! We had been upgraded to the Biarittz room free of charge which was very comfortable and roomy with access to the outside pool. Breakfast had everything that you could imagine and we would highly recommend the fresh homemade yogurt which... More

So glad you had a good time in Hollywood. We must correct the claim that our yogurt is homemade, it comes from Colorado. Hard to avoid traffic sounds in LA, but we try. More

I have stayed here twice this year and loved it. While I agree it's quirky - the decor is over the top with collectibles, see the attached pictures for examples - it's also a very practical choice, less expensive than hotels in the area, parking and breakfast included, clean and comfortable. My family has had three of their rooms -... More

Thanks for the nice comments. As far as the noise in concerned, we admit we are in the middle of Hollywood between the Sunset Strip and Walk-of-Fame so we get our share of Lamborghini show offs. The quietest room is the Regency for next time. More

We stayed for 4 nights and found the place very well kept, tidy, quiet and Nina & William were lovely. It is definitely an unconventional property, the decor is like nothing like anything we had ever seen and is wild and out there - but it all works in its own crazy over the top way. We had the Baritz... More

I was traveling with my daughter and 12 year old grandson and wanted a location within walking distance to Walk of Fame, Dolby Theatre, etc., and found this B&B. Many of our guests just wander down Sunset Blvd to the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd and visit the rock 'n roll 'museum' at the big Guitar Center store on the way, then walk back on Hollywood Blvd. Thank you for the kind words. More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hollywood B&B. It's an artistic oasis in the center of town that keeps you constantly entertained with all it's decorating surprises (all done by the owners). Stories about the neighborhood and it's famous residents abound (Kanye used to live up the hill and almost ran into Antonio Banderas at the corner). Convenient to... More

Being located in an older neighborhood in Hollywood makes for plenty of stories. The same corner out front where the Kanye and Antonio event happened saw a collision involving Captain Kangaroo who had to stay with us most of the day waiting for a replacement car.
