Having stayed at a number of 5 star hotels around LA, Bel Air is our favourite. The customer service is outstanding, we had a small issue with our room and it was dealt with right away. The rooms are perfectly appointed. The pool and lounge are amazing. The grounds are beautiful

words cannot describe how amazing our experience was at the bel air hotel. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. pictures and reviews do not do justice to this hotel! we loved our private patio and the woodburning fireplace was a treat. In fact we were so encha

I have stayed at the Hotel Bel-Air twice before and each time has been an absolute pleasure; however, our last stay was spectacular! I booked my hotel room with airline points, but I was treated with the same respect as any other guest. This hotel has an incredible staff! Ever

We had dinner there one night and the first thing that struct me is, this ain't what the old Bel-Air Hotel used to be. It isn't the place I used to know and really love. New owners redecorated and surgically removed old Hollywood. Sure, the pool and apartments are much the same,

Dear Jeffrey R, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent visit to Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air. We are very sorry to hear you did not like the new aesthetic following our redesign in 2011. We truly appreciate your feedback on the menu offerings and service, I will be sure to discuss this further with the team. We hope that you will reconsider a return visit. Please contact me directly if you decide to do so. Best regards, Denise Flanders, General Manager

I stay at Hotel Bel Air whenever I travel to LA. Clearly, this is the best hotel on the mainland. Just staying on the grounds is like a vacation. Service is impeccable, the restaurant sublime. (I do miss the old death bartender but eh, things change) I enjoy being treated like vi

I am wondering, why does General Manager, Denise Flanders, have the exact same response to every complaint? The General manager is not capable of writing an individual response to each review? Terrible. It is no wonder the staff is poorly trained. The body always follows the head. Not a good look. I’ll book at the Peninsula. At least keep 10 different responses and change them up. Do not use the same one and do a “cut and paste.” Who is the General manager’s manager?
I’ve always been treated well at the Hotel BelAir

When was the last time your rooms were renovated?
Hotel Bel-Air reopened in October of 2011 following a comprehensive two year renovation that included the debut of new guestrooms and suites. I hope this answers your question, and we look forward to welcoming you to Hotel Bel-Air soon. Regards, Denise Flanders, General Manager

Is the HBA child friendly ? Is there a kids club or baby sitting ? Is it reasonable and are there restrictions on children eg dining room, bar or pool ? Thx
Dear Babycakes, Thank you for your question. We welcome families and children of all ages at Hotel Bel-Air. We are very child friendly, and provide complimentary welcome amenities for young guests. Babies and children are welcome in all of our dining outlets and high chairs are available as needed. Children's menus are also offered. Young guests are welcome at the pool, but children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. We do not have a kids club, but we do provide babysitting services with certified and accredited babysitters, and the cost is $30 per hour (four-hour minimum and $35 transportation fee). If there is anything I can further assist with, please do let me know. Until then,we hope to welcome you and your family to Hotel Bel-Air in the near future. Best regards, Edward Mady, Regional Director West Coast USA and General Manager

I am not going to say it is child unfriendly, as it is a very easy going relaxing hotel, but during my various visits have never seen young children staying at the hotel, maybe teenagers, who have been using the pool. Also seen the same groups in the restaurants. During the day have seen many non residents bring young children and babies for lunch meet ups with friends.
