This was my second time staying here. Wonderful location near Venice beach, the canals and Abbot Kinney. Can also walk to Santa Monica along the water (about 3 miles). This time we brought our daughter and booked a room with two queen beds. Very comfortable room, great beds, and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast in an attractive courtyard, and many restaurants...

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Venice Beach. The rooms are very nice, great natural light and nice furnishings. There was a refrigerator in our room which was nice for snacks and drinks. The location is amazing, just two blocks from the beach, bike paths. Breakfast is good, lots of variety, and the afternoon...

I have stayed at the Inn at Venice Beach three times and I have been extremely happy all three times. The location can't be beat. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance and It's just a short walk to the beach where you can walk or bike along the beach passing all the little shops all the way...

A mistake when they gave us a room, we booked a room with two double beds but we had one with an extra single bed. We couldn't change it because it was full but they offered the breakfast. This hotel is very diferent from all the others I've been in California, I'd love the environment, modern and causy. The room...

This is one of the Pacifico refurbished properties in the area. And a pretty good one. It's closer to the beach than the Kinney, its sister up the road, but not as good. I don't think. It's kinda quirky and trendy. But I think less successfully than the Kinney. Rooms are above average. We only stayed for one night. The...

We stayed here for around 4 nights and the room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. It is a small hotel with a central courtyard. Breakfast was a continental self serve affair with bagels, cereal, muffins and hot beverages. A quick bite before you head out for the day. There are some lovely places within walking distance if you want...

Obviously this is an older hotel but the refurb has been very thoughtful. Nice bright rooms, comfy bed, some nice touches. Only downsides was the heating wasn't working (but very quickly resolved by the on site maintenance man) and the bathroom was TINY especially for anyone like me who is a size 14 (us). I would come back though -...

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Arranged all our tours for us and shared valuable tips as well. Rooms are modern and clean. We did not have breakfast there as we were more interested in experiencing the food at the local cafes and restaurants.

I was unable to get to the hotel from southern California because of heavy rain. I am a 79 year old Veteran on Social Security.. The manager told me he would NOT CREDIT my credit card for the $241.69. That was pure ROBBERY! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

Dear Chas S, I'm sorry to hear you were unable to stay with us due to weather conditions. I can certainly understand that things come up and mother nature getting in the way is something unexpected at times. In reviewing your charge, I was informed by our Guest Service Manager that you called the hotel several days after your arrival...

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
