We arrived early and the front desk staff, who were very friendly and accommodating, kept our luggage safe while we went exploring. Once we returned to the hotel, check in was easy. The suite was beautiful with a great view of the beach. It had a full kitchen and a really cool rooftop patio, which was the perfect place to...

We have friendly front desk staff providing great customer service to our guest on a daily basis. Our staff is all Venice Beach locals who are very knowledgeable and happy to help with information and suggestions for almost anything. Our historic boardwalk & beachfront building consists of furnished studio and one bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens with modern furnishings...

Perfect location on the Venice beach walk. Smack in the middle of it all, for tourists and locals alike. Short walks to the Venice Pier and to Santa Monica. Old house meticulously restored with elevator. The rooms are large with kitchen and dining space. Wonderful roof top with grilling possibilities. Can't be better than this.

Our historic boardwalk & beachfront building consists of furnished studio and one bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens with modern furnishings and hardwood floors. We are the only Venice Beach boardwalk hotel where you step out our front door and on to the sand. We pride ourselves on having the best rooftop terrace of any hotel on the Venice Beach...

Had a great stay at the Venice Breeze Suites. Conveniently located on the edge of the beach. Had a great view out to sea, and a great view of all the colourful sights of Venice Beach from our room. Our room was spotlessly clean, our bed was super comfy, and the kitchen in the room had everything you would need,...

The suite itself looked great. The staff was friendly and willing to watch our luggage when our room wasn't ready. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise during the night. The smoke detector battery was low and people were in the alley.

Our historic boardwalk & beachfront building consists of furnished studio and one bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens with modern furnishings and hardwood floors. Unfortunately in this 1926 building the soundproofing within the units is somewhat limited. However, we do have soundproof windows to minimize exterior noise. We have friendly front desk staff providing great customer service to our guest...

I stayed for 3 nights in January, pregnant and desperate for sun and warmth and some me-time away from my husband and job. Unfortunately, I got 4 solid days of rain and clouds and fog, so I can't really attest to the usefulness of the beach or the amazing rooftop patio. But if you get good weather, this would be...

First time seeing the beach couldn't ask for a better location. My room was beautiful the roof was spot on ( would come back just for the view). Short blonde hair staff member was very helpful with tips on the area and things to do (thank you). Cleanliness was refreshing. I will come back and recommend to family and friends.

Just returned from a four-night stay at the Venice Breeze in a partial-ocean view junior studio. At this time of year, you can get a spacious room on the beach with its own kitchen and bath for around $200, which is less than half what you will pay at a full-service hotel. For two people who are taking Uber (or...

Where should I start ... Is there a parking issue ? Yes, there is, since no on-site parking is available and you can easily drive 5 to 10' before you find a parking spot. Are the surroundings calm and quiet ? No, they are not, but hey ... this is Venice Beach and you know where you are going. At...

The biggest problem we had was finding it at night. The parking for check-in was an alley that was quite hard to find. The area has a different (scary) vibe at night, especially when you're driving around lost, so try to get good directions ahead of time and arrive during the day. There's no parking lot; you have to park...

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
