This place is disgusting. It was about $115.00 per night, only stayed one night. It doesn't look as bad from the outside as it does on the inside. To call this place a dump, is giving dumps a bad name. Our shower had items left...More
The service was horrible! They charged us double the price for 1 room, and we noticed last day! It was a nightmare! Plus they didn’t wanted to explain what was going on if that was a misunderstanding... They threatened us to call the police if...More
Best way to review this motel is to do a pro/con list:
Very old and needs a lot of work
Didn't feel overly safe. We saw some suspicious activity in the alley and woke up with a homeless...More
This place is a perfect base location for exploring LA. Located right at the start of the Walk of Fame, surrounded by shops and restaurants. We had a car and everywhere seemed within reasonable distance. There was plenty of parking on site. Staff were friendly...More
Free coffee, donuts and some other things, great customer service and even tho there were some dodgy looking people hanging around sometimes, it was safe.
Can't beat the location with Hollywood stars starting when you cross the road going towards Chinese Theatre.

Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night
partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.

We stayed for 4 nights and had no issues with items being stolen. We had the do not disturb sign on the whole time as we don’t like people attending the room. We asked for fresh towels. The motel is situated at the start of the walk of fame and I felt safe day and evening. My other half did actually go for a walk around 4am (due to time difference change) and he said that there was a few suspect people but they were harmless. You will probably need to use taxis/uber/lyft to go places as everything is widely spread. I can’t comment on the underground as we had rented a car. The only thing I can say that it seems safer than people make it out to be on the internet. 😁
