the lobby is a disaster as you walk in due to active construction, hence expect dust and noise everywhere. the bar and fitness center as a result are non-existent. having said this, the room itself is quite adequate, with a nice clean shower, comfy bed but no functional a/c or heater - so you rely on extra blankets if you...

Just refurbished the rooms are clean , quite roomy, but a little basic/minimalist. All staff were friendly and helpful. If you turn right out of hotel and walk for about 10 mins you end up at L|A live, which has great bars and restaurants on Figueroa street. You can also catch train to most LA hotspots, we went to Santa...

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location is VERY good because it's near the Metro station, a Target, Macy's and other stores. The hotel was being renovated but they tried very good not to bother the guests. They do not offer breakfast but since the location is very good you have many options nearby. The rooms were confortable....

Convenient to downtown but you can find better. Stayed here because other people in my group were but gave it a second thought once I saw it. Interior check in is in the midst of a remodel. Rooms are comfortable, classy but small. Central AC for the whole property - you have NO in-room temp control - cool and noisy...

I checked in to the hotel hopeful after looking at the website. At first I thought it was okay...even after they told me that the AC was controlled by the whole hotel so I couldn't turn it down but I could ask for more blankets. Not only was the room freezing but the next morning after I took a shower...

My 2 friends and I stayed here on our weekend trip to LA and lemme tell you the hotel was the worst part of our stay. Our 3 night stay had a price tag of a little over $600 so I expected nothing less than our money's worth. Our first room was super tiny. It had 1 bed and a...

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights about a week ago, and was a satisfactory stay all in all. It is located in a sketchy part of downtown LA, which is about a 10-15min walk to the nearest metro station and Staples Centre. The newly renovated rooms are a nice surprise after checking-in in the disconcerting temporary lobby. Staff is cordial and helpful. The room was clean, nice black & white decor, about the size you'd expect. The bathroom is pretty tiny though. The biggest drawback was how LOUD the air conditioning was. When it was on I couldn't hear the TV, and...

I stayed there for 3 nights. My room was clean and tidy, very cozy. I wish this hotel had breakfast or a restaurant, gym and pool. Thus, it was over priced for a hotel that lacked these amenities.
