Poor on so many levels. The pool is not heated like it says it is and was super cold and dirty. Being July it would have been nice to have a comfortable pool. They charge you more for kids over 10 years old, which it doesn't state anywhere on the website. The owner was incredible rude. The decor is outdated....

It is located about 40 min drive until the Valley. Check-in was fast. The room was big, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was terrible. They shouldn't offer that. the wi-fi wasn't paid but it was too slow.

Our experience with this hotel is ok. Nothing extraordinary nor terrible. Room is small but location is great. Breakfast is average, service is good, pricey but everything close to Yosemite is pricey.

Our car broke down while camping at the KOA in Yosemite. We needed a room in a pinch, and the staff at the desk were most helpful! They were very pleasant and accommodating. As far as boutique...they are working on it. Everything was very clean and had the basic necessities, just not what most would consider when they hear the...

Let me tell you just the way it is. The Monarch is unusually referred to in the name a a boutique hotel. Well if it is something's lost in translation to British English. However this is a nice place. It's extremely well positioned in the town, and well positioned for a visit to Yosemite. In terms of accommodation these guys...

Fairly basic motel but was clean and the staff were very helpful in helping us plan for the one full day we had in Yosemite! We had a large bathroom which was nice. The TV was overly complex to operate which was annoying even with the instructions they provided. Swimming pool could probably do with a facelift and some new...

Had looked at their website before booking, not that we had much choice at the last minute for a room in Mariposa over Memorial Day weekend. Website is a joke compared to what you get! Walked into the room - VERY depressing...dark bedspreads, drapes and carpet. Only one switch in the bathroom, which turned on the light and LOUD fan....

We reached Mariposa after driving for 12 hours and were glad to reach the comfort of this small family run hotel. The owners were very friendly and greeted us with a smile. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel was in the middle of the town. It is also not far from Yosemite. Would recommend it. The breakfast...

We were looking for a cheap motel outside yosemite's to spend the night. It was really difficult as we did everything last minute. The only one we found was The Monarch and we had not really a choice, so we paid the price. It was really expensive for what it is! But the room was in a perfect condition, they...
