This motel is rather old, but clean and with acceptable rooms, a good breakfast and a swimming pool. The Yosemite park is about an hour away, and there is a tourist information opposite which is very helpful. We found it very expensive for what we got, but you have to consider that you are paying Yosemite prices.

Looking for a place to stay outside Yosemite and mariposa seemed a good place. Not a ton of options but this hotel seemed decent. Rooms were not bad though it is an older hotel. The staff was great and it does offer a pretty good complimentary breakfast area that I thought is as good as a Hampton or Fairfield. Would...

This motel is very similar to what you would expect at any Comfort Inn or Best Western. Boring and a bit run-down looking on the outside, but clean and adequate in the room. A bit expensive for what it is, and especially since it's an hour fro Yosemite, but not many choices in the area. Mariposa is cute, and hopping...

Not a chain hotel but very well run, clean and with large rooms. We had a fireplace and a kitchenette and a small patio. The breakfast was great many selections and space most all times. The town is an old gold mining town about 1 street wide with several restaurants and museums. The best is it is close to Yosemite,...

We were looking for lodging near the west entrance to Yosemite Valley and were very happy with Miner's Inn (less than 60 minutes from the park entrance). Check-in went smoothly and Dave was courteous even after dealing with a difficult guest in line ahead of us. We had a king room with spa tub. The room was spacious, clean, and...

Agree with a previous reviewer... nothing really wrong with this place, but there's nothing particularly spectacular either. Our room was clean, though a little dated. It included hair dryer, refrigerator, tv, wifi, microwave and coffee maker. We had a 2-queen room, which has a shower stall only (no tub). I did not like the fact that the curtains were difficult...

Not close enough to Yosemite to stay here if you want to visit multiple days but great place to stay if you need to sleep over for 1 night. It all looks pretty old, but it's very clean which is way more important. Breakfast was okay, check-in easy.

We booked the miners inn so that we could get an early morning start to yosemite. It's still about another 1.5 hour drive to the valley. This was one of the best priced accommodations and a good value because of the included breakfast. The room was very clean and huge. It's not like a traditional motel - the entrance to...

Upgraded from 2 queen to 1 king in a suite. Pleasant, clean, jacuzzi tub and gas fireplace in the bedroom. Very large breakfast buffet with fresh local pastries. Definitely would have enjoyed it in a smaller room as I really was using it as a stopping point to Yosemite. Wonderful drive along the Merced River from there.

There's nothing really wrong with this place, but there's nothing particularly spectacular either. The rooms are clean but a bit dated. The breakfast bar is OK, but not varied and not particularly large in terms of options. Would I stay here again, sure. Would I recommend it to someone? It depends on what you are looking for. If you are...
