This was our second stay with the Blue Door Group, our first at the Blue Door Inn. We stayed two nights in the Kensington Room, which had an ocean view, a gas fireplace, and a whirlpool soaking tub. From the warm welcome to the "breakfast in bed" delivered to our door in a basket, to the afternoon wines and the...

We love to hear how much you have enjoyed your experiences with us at our Blue Door Group properties! It sounds like you were truly able to take advantage of all of the different amenities including the fireplace, soaking tub, and complimentary snacks and drinks. Guests often comment on how comfortable the mattresses are and we’re happy to know that...

We booked three nights in the JD building if the Blue Door Inn and stayed in the water tower room. It I was cozy with a freestanding fireplace for heat. It is a real water tower converted to the room with a small sitting room and individual bathroom. The sitting room is all windows so it feels a little open...

We spent a couple of days in Mendo for my 60th and decided to stay someplace new. I chose Blue Door from the great website photos knowing that they put only the best shots online. It was not only as good as the photos implied... it was better! John was super helpful (even upgraded our room) and the accommodations were...

It looks like you were really able to take advantage of the amenities that our hotel has to offer! Many guests note the intimate fireplaces, comfortable soaking tubs, and of course, the afternoon treats. Love to hear that enjoyed so many aspects of your stay. Come back soon!

It was my second stay at Packard House (member of Blue Door Inn Group) and I really enjoyed it. It was like coming home and not to an impersonal hotel. The hosts, John and Ruby, were very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean and well appointed (I stayed at Queen Room, which has an enormous soaking tub). Thumbs up!

My wife and I were a bit concerned about our three-day stay due to all her dietary restrictions (no gluten, no dairy, no sugar). Were we ever pleasantly surprised! The morning breakfasts brought to our room each morning in a cheerful basket were custom prepared to her needs. Additionally, a four o'clock each day wine was served with fresh fruit...

The Blue Door Inn was recommended to us by some good friends who had stayed there previously. They even recommended we stay in the King Suite with a Water View. So we booked it well ahead of our travels. When we arrived at this charming B&B we were greeted by John, who did a wonderful job of welcoming us. We...

We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the tasty breakfast offerings and afternoon wine hour, as well as our hotel's convenient location. We are sorry to hear about your experience while staying with us, however, very much appreciate your feedback. We agree that there is a discrepancy between the King Suite Water View rooms and upon further reflection, we will...

The Blue Door Inn is a bit different. Though a Victorian style Inn the rooms and sitting area have a very modern contemporary look. An interesting combination. Our room was a second floor king suite with beautiful views that looked out over Mendocino and the bay several blocks away. The room was very spacious with a sitting area, large modern...

We had originally booked a room at the Packard House of the Blue Door Group, but when we checked in we were given an upgrade to the Raven room at the JD House. What serendipity! This had to be one of the best rooms and stays we have had in our 50 years of travel! The room was gorgeous with...

Loved the charming Packard House but it needs some refreshing especially the rug on the stairs, the rug in the Pacific View room, the wall under the sink and I could go on. The breakfast offers terrific innovative food but doesn't start until 9am which is a bit inconvenient. The soaking tub filled quickly and felt delightful. The king bed...
