Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel in a very sketchy area, bathrooms need major renovation, cracked tiles.
Continental breakfast is a joke, all they have is a Juice fountain.
Consistently smells like weed and on occasions tenants will just stand and smoke in the hallway

For a 2-star hotel, this offers everything you need for an impromptu overnight stay - the price is a fraction of just about every other area hotel, and if all you need is a clean room and a bed, this is your place. The parking lot is crowded, so you need to be there before 8pm, and there’s little in the way of amenities, but for a clean room at an affordable price, this fits the bill perfectly.

Dear guest, It is great to receive feedback from you regarding your recent visit, and we are pleased to hear that you had a positive overall impression of your visit. We are glad that you found the room clean and it's nice to read that our price point suited you. We also hope your stay was enjoyable and you had a comfortable night's rest at our property. Your comment about parking is duly noted. Parking is a significant concern in the city due to space constraint. Nevertheless, we do provide convenient parking for our guests and try our best to accommodate as many guests as we possibly can. We would dearly love to have more parking available for our guests, but, unfortunately, space around our property is very much at a premium. We trust that the positives of your stay outweighed any limitation, and we hope to welcome you back when you return to Milpitas. Best regards, Customer Care Team

A good choice to stay if you are on a Budget. Room is clean unlike what I read otherwise. Basic amenities are all there, iron board, microwave oven, coffee maker , etc as advertised. Place is safe and the front desk service is good. Breakfast is simple with donuts that comes in packet , fruit juice and coffee. You can't expect more for a Budget stay. It would be ideal if the hotel could upgrade its wifi. You get disconnected always and it can be very frustrating.

I am a female traveling alone. This place was a nice cheap stay for one night on a road trip. The worker at the front desk was super pleasant. My room was very nice and clean. Absolutely no issues. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed here for a week and trust me this is not a kind of place you would want to stay in. Rooms are small, breakfast inclusive is nothing but stale donuts and machine coffee. There is cigarette butts everywhere and people sit and drink on the staircases. All in all a very teribble experience I had while staying here.

The bad - breakfast is one option, a prewrapped sticky bun, but on our second day breakfast was not ready when we showed up. Shower head is green with mold, see pic. TV and cable feed are really fuzzy. Bed blanket is super old and smells as such. Furniture in room is super old with missing pieces. Bed frames have metal bars sticking out to catch your ankles.

The good - liked the soap dispensers and bathroom sink, toilet and shower are updated. Fridge works and is silent.

Kinda run down, lobby is in disrepair and disorganized with hanging ethernet cables and stacked debris. Grounds are largely unkept with trash on site and bags of trash laying about for two days during our stay.

Overall, wouldn't stay here or at an America's best value hotel again mainly due to breakfast issues and general disrepair of site.

I didn't expect too much, but this was the dirtiest place I have ever been to. The pictures on the website do not match the hotel rooms at all. The free wifi is a joke. The signal was very weak in my room and the download speed was slower than dial-up modems in 1995! The AC unit in the room is right next to the bed. You either have to turn it off and enjoy the hot stuffy weather or directly expose yourself to the air flow the entire night. I could feel a bad smell everywhere in the hallways and in the room. The bed and pillows are made of the cheapest possible material. The TV is very old, and the microwave is dirty. There were spider webs on the walls and the ceiling even in the bathroom. In general, I don't recommend this place at all. I would go back there only if my next best option was sleeping on the street!

PRICE: OVERLY PRICED,
STAYED HERE JUNE 16TH 2012. THANK GOD IT WAS ONLY ONE NIGHT. MY SISTER PREPAID FOR THIS DUMP ON EXPEDIA.COM. She did not know that she could have booked Hyatt Place in Fremont for the same price. She is not from here. She did not ask me. Brown substance on the walls. Dried greenish-white substance in and around the sink. Yuck! Remote control felt grimy and gritty. dirty laundry and garbage piled up behind the check in desk! Suspicious looking individuals hanging out. needless to say we sucked it up and stayed....since sis paid for it. we should have just forfeited the money and stayed some place else!!! I took a nice long hot soapy shower as soon as I got home. I felt so dirty when I left there!

I woke up at 2:00 am because I realized I had bugs crawling all over me. I took videos and pictures and hope these were ants, but I do have bites. I checked the bed before going to sleep and didn't notice anything, but there were hundreds when I woke up. Ended up sleeping in the car.

Providing our guests with a clean, comfortable room is a priority for us, and we strive to do this consistently. Despite this, bedbugs can easily gain access to hotel bedrooms; generally via guest luggage. We are very sorry for the inconvenience that this caused you, but please rest assured that we and our pest control partners have dealt comprehensively with this issue now. We hope that you will return to enjoy a better stay with us in the future. Best wishes, Hotel Management

Yes, I know they're in the middle of a renovation (of sorts), but, man, is this place basic. And although this is a "first world problem", the WiFi is so spotty it makes for a good impression of Swiss cheese - something not desired when needing to do work remotely, or even when trying to relax and watch something. While I know this was the cheapest option available for a per diem business trip, it was obvious I should've chosen more wisely when I drove up and saw the quality of the residents and smelled the pot when I walked past rooms. Perhaps this place will become better when they complete their "upgrades", but for now I suggest looking elsewhere.

Oh, and you want a breakfast? I don't know from which continent a Honey Bun originates, but this - and orange and apple juice - are your only options. Either work late and lock your door when you arrive, or just don't arrive at all.

Thank you for taking the time to rate your recent stay with us. We are disappointed that you don't seem to have had the wonderful experience that the vast majority of our guests do, but we hope to have an opportunity to change your impression of our property on a future stay.
