The first night was TERRIBLE!! The hotel was unprepared for the cold snap. The heating is an antiquated system. That along with the vaulted ceilings froze our @**** off!! Our room had a fireplace with the flue 'fixed' in the 'open' position..and NO FIRE LOGS!! 😱 My husband & I kept our shoes & socks on as well as our...

A warm welcome upon arrival. Easy under cover car parking. Room was very quaint with four poster bed. Clean and comfortable. Good size bathroom. Just a few minutes walk to the town centre offering lots of choice for food. Breakfast was a good choice with friendly conversatiuon with owner

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hidden gem. The moment we walked into our room we were very pleased with all the wonderful little touches. Even a jar with q-tips and make remover pads. Loved the thoughtful touches (a bottle of water in the fridge). The bed was comfortable and had plenty of extra covers. The breakfast consisted...

One of my favourite inns on our Californian road trip as it was a bit different. I think I actually said "wow" as I walked through the door with the high ceilings, this was not what I was expecting. Great location in Monterey for Fisherman's Wharf and other restaurants and bars. Rooms are beautifully decorated, and have an open fire...

This Inn is quirky, and has everything you could ask for except the parking. But we over looked that because from the time we checked in, the staff is friendly attentive and willing to do everything to please their guests. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Location is perfect to walk to downtown and fine dining. Will be back...

Stayed here for two nights, not what we expected but a pleasant surprise. Ideally situated, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast simple but good. One of our favourite places that we stayed on this holiday.

We were looking for a quite place to stay after driving up the coast and booked this hotel. We pulled into the driveway and found a nice parking spot from the selection of slightly tight spaces. The gentleman at the check-in was cheerful and had us checked in in short time. 4 of us stayed in room #1 right next...

We stayed in a suite in the original building. Lots of space, quaint, and historic, but also a bit musty and with dim lighting. Bathroom is dated as was the mattress. Breakfast is very ordinary, and in fact we skipped it the second day of our stay opting to pay for something better. On the other hand location to historic...

Big and comfortable bed. Clean room and with everything someone need to relax, specially at night. The hotel location is very good, a few steps of walking attractions. Me and friends really enjoyed staying there. Unfortunately at night no one in the front desk to help guesses, even, to call a cab.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Check in can be tricky as parking is difficult. There is one spot at the front to wait whilst you check in. Once checked in, you can park round the back of the hotel, it's very tight, but we always found a space. Rooms are good. Large bed, very comfortable. Bathroom is ok, sink...
