Don't be fooled by the exterior, just because this was an older hotel, the interior of our room was phenomenal. It was clean, spacious, luxurious and has an oversized chairs in each corner of the room. The room it self had a refrigerator, microwave and a Keurig machine with the K-cups ready to go. The continental breakfast was nice, didn't...

I loved the fireplace and painting also being veryclose to downtown Monterey. It felt more like an apartment complex it was very cozy. I also liked the beds they were comfortable the colors and design scheme were awesome!

It was a great stay and the room was way more modern updates than I thought. It was clean, cute fire place, close parking, great customer services. So convenient & close to everything. There is cute restaurants near it so the walk or drive isn't so far. Love it! The beach is close to it and not a bad drive....

We stayed here in June/July 2016.Do not be fooled by the exterior. The rooms are modern, clean and fancy. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this one is right up there with the best . Nice fireplace, comfy beds, good big shower. They could probably get away with charging a lot more for the rooms! Would stay...

Lovely modern & newly refurbished hotel & very reasonably priced, large rooms with separate bathroom & toilet . Very friendly & helpful managers. Only a 10 min walk into old town & 5 min drive to all attractions & wharf. We had a room at back of hotel so very quiet as hotel is on a busy road. Light breakfast...

Only one real complaint about this room. The only lighting available are from recessed can lights in the ceiling... with VERY bright lights. Two of these VERY bright lights are directly over the pillow part of the bed. We could not even read in bed because the lights were so bright. We ended up not using the lights and depending...

This hotel has two rooms with King bed and fireplace, and originally they put us in 24 which is half a level down from the parking lot. My partner was really unhappy being in the basement, so they moved us to 35 which has the same King and fireplace but a cathedral ceiling so it is nicer but on the...

Checkin was easy with a very nice lady behind the counter. The room was in the building across from the office, and the room exceeded any expectations. The WiFi was good at all times. The bed comfortable, the lighting in the room was set to provide light to the work desk without glare. Multiple USB power outlets throughout provided more...

First of all, this unassuming hotel is gorgeous and very spacious in the rooms and bathrooms. Recently renovated with great decor and fireplaces. I paid a third of what others were paying for hotels downtown and Cannery Row. Free continental breakfast that you bring back to the room( no dining room). They have breakfast sandwiches you can heat up, fruit,...

My family and I stayed here for four days. Checked in late at night and the guy at the desk was helpful and once we got our keys we head to our room. I'm glad he put us at the end coz he must have realized my kid being her active self would not calm down and be an annoyance...
