This place is set back in a nice quiet area with a great patio for enjoying the evening after a long day wine tasting :) We had Brandon's room which we enjoyed because it's separate from the house. Very clean room and comfortable bed. The breakfasts every morning were delicious!! Great coffee, but it would be nice if they had... More

Previously we have stayed in hotel chains when visiting Napa. This time we opted for the B&B experience. To say it was different is an understatement - but that's not all bad. Situated in a residential neighborhood, the outside is very pretty. First difference - no one on staff on location when we arrived. But our key was in an... More

AC wall unit temp control was locked and would cut off completely around 78-80. There was no ceiling fan. We were forced to leave the sliding glass door wide open for sleeping (screen shut) and risk possible security issues. Sound system did not work. Staff was nonexistent except for immediately before breakfast (and spoke limited English). No one greeted us... More

We stayed at the Stahlecker House for a few days last month, and really enjoyed our experience. Breakfast was lovely every morning - with fruit, eggs, pancakes, and quiche, and omelettes being served. We stayed in Nicholas's room, and the canopy bed was beautiful and the view outside was nice. The house is in a neighborhood, in a quiet location.... More

There are few things odd about this bed and breakfast. First of all it is located in a neighborhood, which is cool whatever. It was at the end of a cul-de-sac next to another bed and breakfast which was also a little random. We had to sign a homeland security form with our passport information when we showed up to... My wife and I stayed there for three nights. I wish we had more time to chat with Ron who is not only a wonderful host but is a very knowledgeable and intelligent person. The room - Nicolas' was comfortable and nice but the most we will remember were three different breakfasts we had there. They were simply delicious. Overall... More

The Stahlecker House was very relaxing with a great host - with good ideas for things to do and see around the Napa area. The breakfasts were wonderful - not to heavy and a good start to a day of wine tasting and wandering the countryside. Nice outside patio to relax with your newly purchased wine. Cookies on arrival and... More

The Stahlecker House was a very clean and entertaining place. Ron was entertaining at breakfast and throughout the day. Breakfast was delicious and with the great company of all the other guests there. I would highly recommend staying here the next time you are in NAPA. Ron has an extensive knowledge of the wineries in the area, the Bay Area... More

We stayed in Nicholas's room. Cute canopy bed with window overlooking the forest. We sat on the deck in the evening sipping some local wines as the deer came in to snack on the evening dewy grasses. Our breakfast was fantastic and prepared hot and fresh. Our hosts were attentive and no small details were overlooked. Lovely place.

“The house is a $10 cab ride to downtown. You can walk if you have the energy. I would not waste the money on a car service. We had a rental for the wineries, however downtown has a plethora of tasting rooms, restaurants for every budget. Downtown has a very laid back vibe.”
