We camped at Newport Dunes in Mid October to attend a wedding that was going to take place on the beach of the lagoon. Our friends suggested that we join them camping and make it a longer weekend. It was our first trip to Newport Dunes and we really enjoyed our selves.

We had tickets to the Newport Dune Octoberfest (wouldn't recommend) so decided to spend the night at one of the cottages at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort. It was very nice. Easy walk to the pool, the beach and store. Even though we were only there for one night, it was a

This amazing resort has so much to do... If you have 4 or less in your group or family then I highly suggest renting the pedal boats and cruising over to the middle of the lake for some fun on the water slides. You and Your kiddos will love this and its a perfect opportunity to s

We have a yacht that we are bringing over in three weeks, we got a mooring under pch bridge, how far from the dunes is the dingy ride to the park and can we park the dingy somewhere? We have been to the dunes with the rv several times, and the kids won't go anywhere else but your place, we have had the best vacations at the dunes! Looking forward to another great time with your place and staff, I just hope it's not to far from where we have to moor?? Thanks steve and lily Legino, Newport dunes is the best place ever! We're coming from Cabrillo marina!
"If you like camping, but do not have an RV this is a great alternative."
"Any of the Cottages facing the lake have the best views and are great for night time bon fires"
"Stay away from being under trees"
"Bring a RV and enjoy the comfort of it instead of renting a cottage. But be prepared to spend as much as you would for a hotel room."
"I noticed that the Large Cottages are different but same price. We had 3108 and the parking lot was taken over by the RV Camper next to us."
