It saddens me to write this but if your idea of a historic country inn is a quaint house with a hearty breakfast, avoid the place. Place no credibility to the claim on their website of being a “beautifully restored Victorian B&B.” Or that “each room has a private bath.” We have stayed at the Kaleidoscope a number of times...

I almost don't want to write about this place, because it's such a rare gem and lovely find, that I almost want to keep it as my own little secret. I was looking for a Labor day weekend getaway and rooms were going fast, so I had to jump on their last room which was the master suite. It's located...

We visited the Kaleidoscope as a guest at a wedding eve gathering. The yard/garden was perfect for the gathering. The deserts were fabulous, the setting was romantic, sweet and easily accommodated the guests. The nice thing is a member of the wedding party was able to stay with there family. I am hoping to get the chance to stay sometime...

This is one of those places people tell each other about, because you kind of have to know. Pictures don't quite do it justice. It is a very pleasant place but as the inn keep said, "not for everybody." If you like quaint bed and breakfasts with a slightly Victorian aire about them and a lovely garden, this place would...

The best thing about staying at the Kaleidoscope Inn was the bed was amazing and the room was quiet. It appears that the building isn't well cared for, everything is kind of shabby. However, the grounds were incredible! Beki the manager? worked extremely hard in preparation for a wedding reception (working largely unassisted).

Wow, what a great find. This was built in 1886-87. The owner has his daughter Beki running the Inn for the past 10 years. She is doing a great job, she is very established. We arrived on a Thursday night and found Beki greeting us and welcoming us into her establishment. This is a destination wedding sight for sure, if...

My husband and I went there on the week-end of October 30, 2015. Apparently, the owners don't stay on the property, so their 25 year old daughter is left there to run the house and business. She met us at the door and told us she was on her way to a Halloween party and would more than likely have...

We spent the evening of August 20, 2015 at the Kaleidoscope Inn & Garden. The host was very pleasant and helpful upon our arrival. The morning cook was a bit overwhelmed with a full house and a reporter doing a review of the facility. He made a very nice breakfast, although he was tremendously distracted by the full house and...

I was worried when I first read the reviews on trip advisor, but it was to late to cancel my reservation. According, to B&B.com i would loose 50% of my money. My husband & I figured it cannot be any worst than some of the hotel we have stayed. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations this is not...

“The upstairs front room has a staircase to a bonus room! That room worked out well for US. I was able to go upstairs to dress in my gown as my future husband put on his tux in the bedroom. All the rooms in the house have their own character.”
