Bad location and parking. Roome OK but not kept up very nive. Friendly staff. First of all, guest parking is close but off site and a bit scary if your by yourself at night as it seems like a bad part of downtown, not sure....More
The room they initially gave me was very small and had a small window that looked at a wall several feet away. Absolute no view and no daylight. It was claustrophobic. This room should not be rented in any hotel. Fortunately they were able to...More

Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey. We do apologize for not getting our dining guide, Oakland is full of restaurant and café, we will make sure the agents are aware.
I do not recall a microwave in the room we stayed in. The room was somewhat small and there may not have been a proper spot to place one. Whether any of Clarion's guest rooms contain microwaves, I'd ask front desk personnel.

Don't listen to Dumb people who don't know anything about Oakland. There are many good restaurants in Downtown Oakland. first of all you are next to China town. there are lots of good, cheap asian food right there. There many decent restaurants in Broadway and you are about 10 blocks from Jack London Sq which has atleast 10-15 happening restaurants. they are busy on weekends and less busy on weeknights. just keep in mind that things close down around 10 at weeknights . you can uber to any of these spots at night. You can also walk but like any big city, there are homeless and sometimes questionable characters around downtown areas so you have to be careful.
