This was the second stay here for me and my wife. After our great experience staying here in August 2013, we were thrilled to be able to reserve this resort with RCI Points for our week-long stay on 14-21 Aug 2016. Since this resort is near the base of Squaw Valley USA, not having air conditioning is not a problem....

We stumbled upon this resort via a silent auction "win" at a school auction. I didn't know what to expect, but chose it due to availability. My husband and two daughters, ages 8 and 10 have had a wonderful time and were pleasantly surprised. The resort is an old dormitory from when Squaw hosted the 1960 Olympics. The rooms are...

Nice location to Squaw for skiing, can see the mountain, great outdoor pool, even in winter the pool and hottubs are open. But the place has small room, lots of rooms though, can accommodate a lot of people which is good. Small rooms but it is still nice. Old but nice. The best shower pressure I have ever experienced. It...

Good use of space and lovely property. Kitchen well supplied. Furnishings throughout old and worn. Bathroom in need of serious renovation. Tiny ants here and there throughout our room. Equipment in exercise room also quite old. Outdoor hot tubs are nice feature. Terry robes in room were worn and stained. Really?!?

We booked Olympic Village Inn on line from Florida. It did not disappoint. The room was clean and had everything we needed including a small kitchen and smart TV's. The staff was great with lots of suggestions on places to go and see other than the skiing of course. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains. Their recreation...

My son and I stayed here in October and used it as a base to go and enjoy the big playground Tahoe has to offer. When I booked I had a choice between this and a place in South Lake Tahoe......I picked this as I thought it would be more peaceful and relaxing....and it was. The place itself has great...

I love coming To Squaw Valley ski resort each year. I always stay at the Olympic Village Inn. The location to the ski slopes is great. The resort provides a free shuttle to the base of the ski lifts. After skiing you have 5 hot spas to relax in.

The Olympic Village Inn has been in the process or renovating their units over that past couple of years. The upgraded Kitzbuhl suites now have flat screen TV's, new decorative details and minor configuration changes. On each wing on each floor there are end suites (called Chamonix) that are more spacious and have fireplaces. Since there are so few of...

I've been going to OVI for >20 yrs now and it's the perfect place to stay for your ski vacation at Squaw Valley. Yes, it's not the Ritz/Westin (it's not fancy), but it's all you need and the price is right. Located right at the base of Squaw, they have a shuttle that runs from 8-5 to the slopes. Lockers...

We have had a timeshare at OVI since I was born. It is a smaller hotel, and older but has great history and charm. Originally built for the athletes during the 1960s Winter Olympics. They are perfect for 4 people, who are adventurous and ready to hit the slopes. They have been remodeling the units, and we have stayed in...
