the location as awesome, just a gorgeous town with good food. was there during a festival...cool beans. we did think this was a B&B, but it was an "Inn" which isnt how it was advertised. So...no breakfast and no wine and cheese.

I loved staying here. The surroundings are peaceful and the old style house just soothed my soul. The beautiful rose suite has a fabulous claw foot bath and I soaked away the road and rested deeply. In the morning I rose to the gentle snap and crackle of the fire. This place is friendly and peaceful and quiet with the... More

The Inn is super charming! The garden is lovely! The room was clean and comfy, and the shower felt great! You wake up to the smell of a fire in the fireplace and freshly brewed coffee. We got in on the annual town fair, and it was a such a good time! The owners, Ken and Penny are two of... More

Pleasant accommodations, very quiet, and easy walk to the quaint "downtown" Pescadero. In addition, it's not far off Highway 1 and only a short drive from San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. Ken was most helpful, one can see why he enjoys living here. The backroads in this part of the coast are stunning!

Just spent a wonderful weekend getaway at the Inn. Although close to the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area, the ambiance feels like you are hundreds of miles away. The Inn is perfectly located, an easy stroll into "town". Had my best sleep in months in our comfy and quiet room. Found a nice fire going in the parlor... More

The first thing that caught my eye was the wonderful wood floors inside. Then we got to our room and there was no TV!!!! If your reaction was like ours.... "What are we going to do with no TV!?" Then you NEED to stay here. The room itself is very cute. Claw tub, and a shower with plenty of hot... More

If you are traveling up or down the California coast, stop at the Pescadero Creek Inn and rent their garden cottage. The inn is ten minutes off of Hwy 1. The cottage has a rose theme, but I felt it was very attractive. It has a claw foot tub. Well insulated with fire place - very comfortable. Best of all,... More

We stayed at the inn on the last night of our holiday, before returning to San Francisco airport. Very good location off highway 1 and the famous Duarte's tavern is worth visiting and a short walk away. Luxurious room and spacious bathroom. Breakfast is limited but there are choices not far away (tavern, store etc) for full breakfast. Ken is... More

We stayed three nights at Pescadero Creek Inn. It certainly is nice to have an option to stay in Pescadero. The nearby beaches and coastline, both north and south are spectacular. The village is a throwback to past years, historic, including Duartes Tavern. But even beyond that the village has become a bit of a destination with numerous other bakeries,... More

I am glad you enjoyed your stay and visit to our area. The town has grown quite a bit in the twenty years we have been here, with new shops and places to dine. I wish the cost wasn't such an issue because I understand how it is hard for me when charges go up. I could go on about... More

The town of Pescadero is cute and the nearby beaches are gorgeous, so it is nice to be able to stay in the area. But for the price, I was disappointed. The accommodations are pretty basic. And it is not an actual B&B, as it only offers the bed, not the breakfast. (It doesn't seem like it would be that... More

Dear Caladventuregal, I regret you found your stay less than hoped for. After ten years as a B&B we felt the town had grown to where the guest experience would be enhanced by exploring one of the many nearby breakfast options, and perhaps further enjoy the nature of the town. Again, I am sorry your stay wasn't all you hoped... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located on the California Coast midway between Santa Cruz and San Francisco, our Country Inn offers a peaceful getaway in an old town atmosphere. The crashing waves of nearby beaches may be heard in the evening along with the croaking frogs in the marsh. Relax in front of the large stone fireplace in our century old farmhouse or sit by the side of the creek that separates the Inn from town. Decorated with period antiques, each room has a queen bed and a private bath with a claw-foot tub. Visit the shops in town offering unique gifts and places to dine. Be sure to try the artichoke garlic bread from Norm's Bakery, wood fired pizza from Pescadero Country Store, and great coffee ate Downtown Local. And be sure to enjoy dinner at Duarte's Tavern, winner of the prestigious 2003 James Beard National Culinary Award. And no visit would be complete without visiting Harley goat farm and enjoy the free cheeses available for tasting in their shop! California beaches and redwoods are a short ride away. Travel south on scenic Highway One toward Santa Cruz you will find Pigeon Point Lighthouse, elephant seals at Ano Nuevo State Beach and kite surfers and hang-gliders at Waddell Creek. Come see the magic that is Pescadero. ... more   less
