This resort is quite small with only a couple little cabins, but they are very cute. It's a little bit in the middle of nowhere, so it's a bit of a drive to get to a grocery store or restaurants, but it is right on the Avenue of the Giants. It's definitely an older place, but it was great staying...

My husband and I stayed at Redcrest in early November, after they'd switched to winter rates. The resort is really an old-fashioned motor court, complete with wood paneled rooms and kitschy decor. We booked room #3 which came with two queen beds, a separate living area with a tv, a bathroom and a complete (tiny!) kitchen with oven/stove, sink, microwave,...

Just passing through from San Diego to Portland and stumbled upon this gem in the Redwoods. We were so surprised to see the value we received from staying. We stayed in cabin #9 and it was so cozy! We couldn't believe literally everything from how clean it was, the information that was provided, the comfiness of the bed, the temp...

We didn't stay at the resort . So I cant speak for that . From the road it looked nice . But we stopped in the gift shop . It is pretty big and has a good selection . Best of all it has a penny squishing machine .

My family and I really enjoyed this resort. We rented the bigger rental home. It was big enough for all of us and comfortable. The resort is very relaxed and the people were all nice. There is a fire pit that we used to relax after a long day of traveling. My only wish is that I could have stayed...

We planned a two night stay and extended it another two. My husband was sick of hotels so he selected this place from a magazine ad. The family that owns Redcrest runs it. They were very welcoming and accomodating. They loved our two golden retreivers and the site is set up to host dogs without compromising the fun for everyone...

We had such a good time! What a cute little place (cabin 12), everything we needed! Awesome location, great hospitality. It was our anniversary, we never mentioned it to the owners but because of the anniversary cards we had given each other that we left on the table we came home one day to the cutest message with a couple...

We stayed here for 3 days in our fantastic 1 room cabin. The cabins are located right on The Avenue of Giants. We are surrounded by 1000 year old trees. There is a small cafe across the street but any meals you want you'll have to go to Scotia 10 miles away. We brought our breakfast and lunch with us...

We stayed in cabin 1 during our visit. The location is perfect! Located on the Ave of the Giants, you could not ask for more majestic surroundings! The gift shop has some very nice souvenirs at great prices. These cabins are homey and clean. We both slept very well the 3 nights we were here. We had a kitchen that...

We stayed in cabin #14. It was clean, and the kitchen had all the utensils and cooking supplies that we needed. However, the interior is very dated, and the price is high. If you don't mind paying $300 for Motel 6 quality, this is a fine place. I probably wouldn't return; it's just too expensive for what you get. The...
