This place is simply amazing!! The staff is fabulous and so informative! Took my daughter and she was enchanted the entire time! We checked in went on the afternoon tour of the zoo. After the tour the room was ready and we settled in just in time for the evening animal visits. We signed up for both feeding the tigers...

I have to admit that after reading some of the reviews here and on Trip Advisor, I was hesitant to book a stay here but we just returned from our overnight trip and I have nothing but positive comments! We did the walking tour at 1:00 pm which was included with our overnight stay and it lasted about 45 minutes....

Where else in Northern California can you feed a lynx, fall asleep to the sound of tigers and have a breakfast chat with an elephant? My kids fell in love with this place. If you blot out the traffic noise and the wire animal enclosures, it has the feel of an African safari. The canvas tents apparently come from Botswana....

I was given a gift certificate for this Bed and Breakfast and was very excited to check it out. The property is in Salinas, Ca which is mostly farm land making it pretty secluded. Coming onto the property it looks like a farm type place. In addition to the B&B they also have a animal hotel type thing and are...

My daughter and I went. Our tour guide Rusty was very knowledgeable and nice. Did the one o'clock tour where you learned and saw several of the animals. At the end you can feed elephants carrots for $5. Def nice experience. Have to buy the $5 tickets before you leave on the tour. We checked in our tent (leopard) and...

This is truly a hidden gem. The well furnished tent-cabins, the view and the wildlife make you feel like a safari explorer. Highly recommend booking the special activities like the elephants bedtime and feeding the tigers – these are unique experiences young kids will enjoy and cherish forever since such a close interaction with animals of this scale is very...

We bought a groupon which included an escorted walking tour of the zoo, an overnight in the tent cabin and breakfast. By the time we paid the extra fee for our two grandchildren and an extra fee to feed the elephants we were well over $300 for the night. Even though we paid the extra persons fee, there were not...

It is unfortunate that this individual did not do their homework prior to staying with us as it would have surely eliminated the grounds for much of their complaint. They purchased a bungalow through Groupon, NOT US, and therefore purchased the wrong bungalow as we have several that accommodate four people! Had we a bungalow that did so available, we...

Rude staff and owner. Staff is incompetent in the months following my visit and the days I was there continuously cancelled my booking charge and then recharged my card. Not sure the purpose. The owner also crashed our elephant tour with his family rather than waiting the 20 minutes until we were finished. Took away from our time letting the...

The staff were great, the animals obviously well cared for. All of the animals ẃere amazing. The bungalows were also very clean, although our heater did not work very well. The heated blankets made up for it though. We fed the big cats and put the elephants to bed. It was totally worth it. Breakfast was amazing delivered by two...
