Wow! My wife and I have stayed here before, but it's like they keep getting better and better. I got my requested room (close to freeway has best view and you can't hear traffic at all) and couldn't have been happier! Ian checked us in quickly and easily and later called us in our room to make sure everything was...

Hotel features its lobby in its marketing. Rooms are not remotely as appealing. Our room was tired and worn, a step above a midrange chain. The owners are not putting revenue back into maintaining the property. It's should start with a dedicated honest inspection of their rooms. Breakfast was minimal at best and eating area cramped. Bathroom worn out, some...

Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights at La Cuesta while touring Cal Poly. While SLO appears to be a town of motels, and this one appeared to be one of the most updated, it still wasn't quite up to par. It's right on the highway, so you get that noise, plus our room was right outside the ice machine...

This hotel was such a nice surprise. Clean, comfy, close to everything. Nice little touches, like coffee all day and cookies in the afternoon. We had a nice balcony. It's close to the freeway but you can't hear it at all. The breakfast had a wide variety: breakfast sandwiches, eggs, fruit cups, yogurt, make your own waffles, fresh fruit --...

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating for our early check-in. We were able to park our car in the hotel after we checked out which was helpful since there was very limited parking during the open house weekend. Close to Cal Poly campus. It is walking distance but uphill to the campus. Very Comfortable king size bed. Large bathroom.

Spent three nights at La Cuesta to visit Cal Poly. I have no idea why this hotel has only 2.5 stars. The rooms are clean and safe and the free breakfast is as good as any mid-priced hotel. We did have to rent a car as we flew into Santa Barbara, but parking was free. Cal Poly is a beautiful...

Had a lovely four night stay at La Cuesta Inn. . We selected the Inn because they sponsor the Cuesta Basketball team and its good they support the local community. What a lovely stay we had. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable and we had a nice view of the nearby hills. Breakfast was...

Our family of 4 stayed at La Cuesta Inn at SLO for an overnight on our way from San Fran to LA. Highly recommended, great service, well appointed rooms & value priced. Breakfast provided in room rate, fairly simple but more than enough to get you going.

I've stayed at many hotels in SLO. La Cuesta is now my favorite. The hotel itself is nice, but not super fancy. The facility is well maintained and very clean. Everything in my room worked well and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is convenient. However, what really stands out are the staff. At check in they were warm, friendly...

All the little touches are what makes La Cuesta special. At breakfast there were fresh flowers on all the tables and fresh berries to eat. They gave us a Cal Poly parent discount since we were there to visit our student-very much appreciated! The staff were all very friendly and eager to help in any way they could. We'll definitely...
