My wife and I wanted an easy quick escape. I saw some mixed reviews on the property, but decided to check it out anyway. If you are looking for slick or glitzy, not for you. However if you are looking for a rustic nice place to enjoy natural beauty and stunning views a great spot. The front desk staff was...

We took a drive to see the resort. We visited the office/gift shop. The lady we spoke to was quite pleasant. She gave us a list of seasonal rates. We walked around the grounds, walking to a viewing area. There were several paths. We went through the restaurant, gift shop, and by the snack bar. We did see where the...

It's a hotel surrounded with beautiful garden with so many plants, trees and flowers that you almost feel as in a botanical garden. Nice coffee shop and a view point for the wild beach cliffs from top. Don't miss that (!)

This property is basically located at a gas stop along Highway 1. There is also a snack bar, a "convenience shop" and a sub-par restaurant. The view from the room was fine and we could hear the ocean if we left the sliding door open. The staff were unhelpful and directed us to the gas station for directions and a...

My husband and I stayed at Ragged Point Inn for one night after the Christmas holidays on our drive up PCH from San Diego to San Francisco. It was our favorite hotel along the way - big cozy rooms (loved the fireplaces!), gorgeous views, no wifi (it doesn't work but this was really a plus to be offline) and great...

This is perfectly located on the PCH, and close to elephant seal beach. Pleasant grounds with a lovely sunset view. Rooms are comfortable and neat, with coffee facilities. Very good restaurant on the grounds, as well as snack shop.

At Big Sur's south end you can find it, with no so many rooms and all with views above the cliff and the ocean. In addition the room was big enough and has a gas chimney. BTW the WiFi signal is quite weak as it is satellital.

We stayed at the Ragged Point Inn in June on a family road trip. We enjoyed finding a unique location with such great views. The rooms were big but furniture needed updating. Also nice large bathrooms and great outside seating areas near the room. The grounds were wonderful with lots of neat places to explore and great views. We had...

We spent our birthday here on a trip down the coast, and the setting is totally stunning! We arrived in time for the sunset, and they have a great overlook with seating, probably about 20-25 people watching the sun set with us. There is tons of room for any outdoor event. Loved that part! Our room was huge!! Pretty old...
