Besides being near the train tracks it was nice great view! Beach was lovely- However we stopped at the market during the hours it was suppose to be open NO one was around. We went to the check booth and was told they were out surfing! Lol say what? We had to go the freeway to find an exit that... More

Our site was nice and clean, but we did not have a view of the ocean as we were told due to the plants being very tall. The real disappointment was the burned out mountain and trails. There was absolutely nothing to see on our hike up the trail. We were not told about the fire in June when we... More

We have stayed here on average a couple times a year for the last 4 years. We have noticed signs that something has changed from the last few visits . The landscaping does not to appear to be trimmed as well as it used to. This hides the great qualities of this park (Ocean View). Side walks are covered with... More

I knew the price upfront. So I am hesitant to complain about that. But going in I was wondering what a 115 dollars per night RV place would offer. Maybe your own restroom? Or an amazing pool with water slides etc? Maybe breakfast included? Anyway I had big expectations. But non of these came true 🙁. Sure it is a... More

We stumbled upon this RV park after our original destination, Refugio State Beach park was full. It was a Friday afternoon and all the local state parks were packed to the rafters. I called the front desk and was informed that they had plenty of vacancies. I was initially perturbed by price of a nightly stay but forged on ahead,... More

The first stop on our rv trip. convenient off of the 101, so expected some highway noise and slept well. Only stayed for one night but would definatley stay again if in the area. nice shop, clean pool, pretty grounds. Kids were happy with the pool. Rv sites were spacious.

We got the last spot on the ocean view side, There are about 10 spots that were converted from a parking lot. No services, so the generator noise can get annoying at night. Luckily our neighbours didn't use theirs at night. The view was incredible, and it was about a 10 minute walk to the beach from our site.

This RV park is beautiful and more like a luxury resort. I'd give it a five stars review but unfortunately it is a bit noisy due to its location near the freeway. Plenty of clean bathrooms are available as well as a nice pool. Nice to have the neighboring El Capitan Canyon Resort as an additional resource.

We tent camp here, and while they try to make it "Sunset" elegant with slightly elevated and raked sand enclosures for tents, the spaces tend toward living right on top of the strangers that just pulled in too. We moved once, and then people move once we got situated - so it looked like everyone was like "this is so... More

The camp site is clean and well run. A fire pit and picnic table with every site. We were in the tent portion (vs. RV) and while there are many international guests everyone had a really good time. The local beach (El Capitan) is in walking distance but your feet pick up tar from the sand. The next day we... More
