Ocean view room. Rooms were not typical of motel 6. Best bang for your buck. Clean and recently remodeled. Wife approved room, and she's finicky. Brought our bikes and chained them outside overnight. Fully expected them to be taken but it was fine. Later biked to State Street (is maybe 2 miles from there).

Stayed over night on a trip from LA to Healdsburg, CA on the recommendation of a friend. This was the second Motel 6 in the chain (the first being the one at the beach in Santa Barbara). The room was small, dominated by the two queen sized beds, but very clean and comfortable -- not luxurious, but not expected to...

Average room for a motel - simple no extras. Clean. Affordable price if you book far enough in advance. Easy to get to (but everything in Santa Barbara is easy to get to). Plenty parking. Friendly staff. L The one thing I did not care for was the smell of smoke that seemed to be living in the walls -...

Never again, I had to use the bathroom during the night and there was a roach! Having said that, everything else seems pretty minor. The room was tiny - our 2 queen beds were cramped in the middle with just enough space to walk around them. The only complimentary was a dish of soap, no shampoo etc. There is also...

I'm 42, husband, 54, child 12. We usually book on the cheap since we don't spend a lot of time in our room. So we did that here. We were just passing through. The room itself looked newly remodeled. It was a contemporary design with 2 double beds. Not roomy. I think you'd be fine to crash there for a...

The people at the front desk were confused and had no recommendations. The room was so so tiny and hot. I would not recommend staying here. We went to swim in the pool and there was a syringe floating in it- I can't even make this up. So over priced for this non sense....

OMG! This place was the deal of the century, I stayed here when UCSB had a soccer game and every hotel was booked a that weekend. Nice place recently updated, when most hotels were going to over 250 to stay here for about 125 a night was great. Clean room, no frills. Great prices and they let me check in...

This was probably the least favourite place in which we stayed on our 4 week trip of California. The staff were friendly but our room was not great, We had a queen deluxe room ( 2 double beds), which was quite small and with our bags it was even smaller. It was hard to get around. We also had to...

Stayed one night in this hotel. The front staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Immediately when you walked into the room the smell of heat and must hit you. The air conditioning unit was noisy and was a distraction when sleeping. The bed and bathroom facilities were sufficient for a later arrival and early check out. Ample parking...

This hotel is in a good location, staff was friendly. It was expensive for Motel 6 but its Santa Barbara.it was close to $190.00 a night. No microwave, no refrigerator, room was small and cozy. They did offer a free coffee in the lobby. Wi-Fi was $2.99 per day for the room charge they could offer it free.
