We stayed just one night on a trip from LA to SanFran. This place oozes old-fashioned charm. We stayed on a Monday night in October and so there were only perhaps two other couples who both seemed to be staying in the annex. We found ourselves alone for both the nicely presented wine and cheese hour before dinner and our... More

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 28 June 2016

The Bath Street Inn is an incredible place. 1. Beautiful home close to downtown. 2. Incredible staff, very accommodating, polite, and served one of the greatest breakfasts I’ve ever experienced. 3. Clean, our room was very nice (Abigail room). Cozy, small TV, and small bathroom.-you don't stay here for the tv. 4. Location, you are away from the hustle and... More

The Bath Street Inn on site parking was tight with a full house of 10 rooms but was just manageable. The common areas were very pleasant and there are enough if you want to socialize or be alone. The welcome and greeting from Vickie was excellent - very informative about the Inn and it's amenities. There was a small fridge... More

We were very warmly welcomed to a splendid afternoon tea with homemade cakes, cheese and even wine. Every room at Bath Street Inn is uniquely decorated and full of charm. We had a very good sleep due to the cosy beds and the B&B's perfect location on a quiet street (yet only 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre).... More

Stayed here two nights in November, 2016 after taking Amtrak up from San Diego. Short Uber ride away from Santa Barbara station. Warm, attentive service. Excellent breakfast. If you want to skip the corporate hotel experience, this is the place--feels more like a home than a hotel. Clean rooms in a converted house just off State Street. We enjoyed the... More

I have been coming to Santa Barbara for many years. This time I'm staying at the Bath Street Inn, in a room on the main level, behind the house. If you're looking for modern and upscale, don't come here. However, if you're looking for homey, do come here. There are goodies and tea available 24/7. Breakfasts are lovely: orange juice,... More
