Pros- fantastic location-within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants. the parking charge was 9.00/day which is not bad since parking is hard to find or you pay quite a bit at a public parking garage(which are not that close). Cons- room was very clean, but our room was extremely small. We had a queen bed, and walking by the...

My husband and I stayed here for one night as a stopover during our road trip through California. We were celebrating our honeymoon and requested a quiet room. Not only did we get a quiet room but the manager also gave us a bottle of wine and a congratulatory note. It was such an unexpected gesture that we really appreciated....

This hotel is perfect for a short stay in Santa Barbara. Clean, ideally located and very reasonably priced it was a refreshing change having stayed the previous evening in a supposedly superior hotel down the coast that was very sub standard! The staff were amazing and a credit to the hotel, they were all clearly interested in ensuring we enjoyed...

We stayed here because of the rave reviews on Trip Advisor. It was certainly a decent enough place, but it was no better than "ok" - certainly not worthy of 5 stars by any measure. I preferred Mason Beach, which is less money and in a better spot, but only # 23 on Trip Advisor. The good: it's right on...

Had a mix up with my travel dates and they (Douglas) at the reservation desk worked it out perfectly. Hard to find good service these days. Holiday Inn Express in Santa Barbara far exceded my expectation. Thank you so much. Can't wait to return.

I work for a major beer supplier and I travel a lot. I was very impressed by the service of Douglas Anderson (Guest Services manager). Doug without any hesitation was able react to a last minute request due to last minute schedule change. Douglas was courteous and went out of his way to assist me. I was also impressed by...

We stayed here for a night when passing through Santa Barbara on our way to San Diego from San Fran. The hotel was in a fantastic location, right next to state street which has a host of great bars and restaurants along with boutique shops. When asking for tourist sights, Douglas, the hotel manager, gave us an in-depth run down...

Good sized, comfortable room and bathroom. Quiet (even though our room was opposite the lift) and very helpful, friendly staff - even though they were working on Christmas Day! Free breakfast was basic but was that was needed.
