Perfect location for a trip to Santa Monica, close to the beach, shopping and a lot of excellent restaurants. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast and we loved the outdoor seating area.

My sister, niece and I recently stayed at the Georgian Hotel and fell head-over-heels in love with the place. I have stayed in LA regularly over many years and have, at last, found perfection. The staff is wonderful, the ambiance of the hotel is marvelous and the location is perfect.

We had a wonderful two nights at this gorgeous hotel! I had said to my husband that he shouldn't be expecting a modern five star luxurious hotel and when we arrived, he stated that this was better than that! We had an early morning flight in so after arriving at the hotel, we had expected to leave our bags there...

There are many things to rave about this boutique hotel, but the service and menu tops our list. Administration, bell and wait staff were friendly and extremely accommodating, which made staying there a pleasure. Because the hotel is small, staff become familiar, which is nice. The dining areas are quaint and intimate with indoor and balcony choices. Breakfast and dinner...

Family of four - stayed in Room 204, which was plenty big for all of us, with chaise lounge (with bedding) and sleeper sofa in living room, plus king in master. We had trouble with cable and some lights, but these were immediately fixed. A tad noisy between alley and Ocean Blvd. out front... Staff were all exceptional, from valet...

Was very pleased with our stay at The Georgian. A cooking class at the Gourmandise School is what brought us to Santa Monica. Everything is walking distance from The Georgian; Third Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Place. We got there way before check-in time but our room was ready and the very friendly registration employee gave us the key...

My husband and I had a beautiful suite with an amazing view of the ocean and the Santa Monica Pier! I love the ambiance of old hotels and the "quirky elevators" just add to the charm. Our room was completely renovated with all the modern conveniences but still retained it's 1930 feel. It was so spacious and comfortable. Our breakfast...

The Georgian has some warts... quirky elevators, sounds that carry from room to room, and a good amount of noise on the front of the hotel from traffic on a busy Ocean Ave (especially lower floors)...but the location can't be beat, the ocean view rooms offer a special backdrop, and the bell staff, who double as the valets, got our...

My LA Marathon weekend was spectacular! The Georgian Hotel was super accommodating and even had coffee, bagels, etc at 3:00 am in the lobby for the runners when I was heading out to catch my shuttle bus. So appreciated!!! I plan on doing it in style again next year!

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
