I spent 4 nights at Hotel La Rose (in 2 different rooms with different family members). Free parking is adjacent to the hotel behind a coffee shop on the corner. The lobby is scented with a beautiful rose scent. It might present a problem for people sensitive to smells or who

This hotel has a lot of history in it - and it's well kept considering. I liked my room and the bed was comfy. There is a fantastic coffee place across the street and Jackson's restaurant around the corner makes for a nice dinner/drink experience. Nice stores, too. I

Delightful change from contemporary hotels. Lots of character but indeed a little rough around the edges. Room a decent size, clean, and nicely appointed in the property's theme. Beds were quite comfortable. Service was excellent and kudos to Tony at the desk for his service and

I really wanted to love this place. For many years, I wanted to stay here. I live in Santa Rosa, so never took the time to spend the money when I lived down the street. lol. Now live a couple hours away, and came down this way, decided it was finally time to spend the night.

Dear healonwifey, Thank you for your recent stay with us and for taking the time to write your review. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations. I am most concerned that our staff did not welcome you properly upon your arrival and failed to respond your concerns at checkout. I was able to determine your room number through your last name and have have addressed the issues in your guest room that you mentioned in your review. I will use your review as a teaching tool for my staff, so that we can improve. I am sorry that we disappointed you. I truly appreciate your feedback. Best regards, Jeff Whitehead General Manager

Go to the visitors' center in the Old Railroad Square district in Santa Rosa. It's in a park across from the Hotel La Rose. They have all the info you want for the entire area from Sonoma and Napa to north of Healdsburg with everything in between. Great maps as well.

Is there A/C?
Don't leave the window open, the hotel is located in a ghetto and the staff allows suspicious people to stay at the hotel. When I was there the floor smelled of marijuana. It's just not safe. Go someplace else.

Is there an elevator?
I didn't see an elevator. The annex has many rooms at ground level. Not sure about the main building. Probably you have to call them to find out.

Do they have a bridal suite?
I doubt it. But just call them and ask. The room I stayed in was very large though.
