We paid the admission fee of $3 and had ourselves a look: small lakes, creek, cabins, recreational areas, etc. It was our first time there and we liked what we saw. Could easily return for a weekend stay. Saw people fishing and the water was stocked with trout the day we were there. A busy freeway is visible, but there's...

Just checked in for two weeks at this campground to enjoy the San Diego area. Very clean sites. Vehicle access controled by gate code, so feel safe. Restrooms and pool also use a safety code. Desk staff very familiar with check-in procedures and very helpful. Our space has unobstructed view of Lake #6. There are seven altogether, but 1-5 are...

The RV space is wide and long but sand base does not handle the rain quite so well, but all in all very good for long stays, also Close enough to downtown Santee Town found great doughnut store "Mary's Doughnuts". If you have Verizon Cell reception is not good at all, you would think that Virizon would do a better...

I don't know where to start about this gem in the middle of the city. There are 5 lakes for fishing, bird watching or just quite time. Plenty of playgrounds for the little ones, they even have a playground for the handicapped children. The BBQ outside the park office has great burgers and always has a special going on. The...

There are five little lakes. All man made, but laid out nicely. Lots of room to take a long walk along the water. They have camping, fishing, and boat rentals. I like to go in early spring and watch the birds. Great place in the middle of the city to get some nature. I recommend.
