Hotel Sausalito is a historic building in the middle of downtown Sausalito. Built in 1915, the mission style building stands in the heart of Sausalito over looking Vina Del Mar Park. After a complete renovation in 1996, Hotel Sausalito is decorated with custom made wrought iron bed frames, faux finsh walls in 3 warm colors and art work that helps compliment the feel of having a little of the French Riviera in Sausalito. With 14 bedrooms and 2 suites, this romantic Hotel is the perfect place to stay for business or pleasure. Guests park in the City parking lot adjacent to the Hotel, for a fee of $20.00 per day. Family owned and run, gives Hotel Sausalito a personal touch.

We booked via Hotels. Upon arrival we were given a two bed bedroom on the second floor; it had a horrible smell od sewage. We closed the door and went back to the reception. The receptionist saw us coming and before I said a word said: “Hey, I ahould have guessed you would

I saw photos on web and thought this might be a stuffy old Boutique Hotel with a great location. Instead I walked into a pristine lobby with an accommodating staff member who was eager to help me. My room which was upgraded to a king, had a great view, and seemed as though I was

A nice place in the heart of downtown. Great setting near the water. Overall a very quaint and charming small hotel. Great views. The rooms are very small. Wish they would have provided a fridge or mini bar, a decent size tv that worked. The rooms need some updating like better

Is there an elevator or is it a walk up to Sausalito Suite?
Hi Robert, We do indeed have an elevator which goes to the second floor. All of our 16 rooms are on the second floor. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Gail Purdie General Manager

Hi Jeffery, Thanks for your interest in Hotel Sausalito. We do have one room that is ADA approved. It's our Sausalito Suite. This room is our largest room and has a king size bed. There is a bar on the wall next to the toilet, and the shower is a walk in one, or wheel in one. We can provide you with a shower chair, if you don't bring your own. The rate of the room depends on when you're looking to book. Please let me know the dates you wish to reserve for, if indeed you choose to and I will be happy to help you some more. Regards, Gail Purdie General Manager

On site parking?
As the other guys said, right across the street. It's a quiet road with more bicycles and pedestrians than cars.
