I saw photos on web and thought this might be a stuffy old Boutique Hotel with a great location. Instead I walked into a pristine lobby with an accommodating staff member who was eager to help me.
My room which was upgraded to a king, had a great view, and seemed as though I was

We will never stay here again! Considering the money we paid for the two nights they DO NOT PROVIDE COFFEE POTS IN the queen rooms. Our queen room was so small that I had to change my mind in the bathroom. When I questioned the front desk about the lack of a coffee pot in our roo

A nice place in the heart of downtown. Great setting near the water. Overall a very quaint and charming small hotel. Great views. The rooms are very small. Wish they would have provided a fridge or mini bar, a decent size tv that worked. The rooms need some updating like better m

Is there an elevator or is it a walk up to Sausalito Suite?
Hi Robert, We do indeed have an elevator which goes to the second floor. All of our 16 rooms are on the second floor. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Gail Purdie General Manager

Do you have any rooms which will accommodate a person who is in a wheelchair? I am a double amputee and once I take my prosthetics off in need a wheel chair to use the toilet and shower. The shower should not have a threshold. the toilet should have grab bars and the pathways should be at least 34 inches.
Hi Jeffery, Thanks for your interest in Hotel Sausalito. We do have one room that is ADA approved. It's our Sausalito Suite. This room is our largest room and has a king size bed. There is a bar on the wall next to the toilet, and the shower is a walk in one, or wheel in one. We can provide you with a shower chair, if you don't bring your own. The rate of the room depends on when you're looking to book. Please let me know the dates you wish to reserve for, if indeed you choose to and I will be happy to help you some more. Regards, Gail Purdie General Manager

On site parking?
As the other guys said, right across the street. It's a quiet road with more bicycles and pedestrians than cars.
