The owners and staff are so accommodating. You feel welcome the second you set foot in the office. Each cottage is unique making this a surprise each visit as to which cabin you will have! Lemonade and fresh cookies for the taking all day in the office and out on the deck... a great place for a couple, a family...

My husband and I stayed here for two weekend nights in the Tallac studio cottage with our labrador dog. The property was lovely and the service was absolutely incredible! Breakfast is outstanding - hot scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, cereals, muffins, juices and even make your own waffles! Perfect fuel for our 14 mile hike from Spooner Lake along the Flume...

Very nice, place to stay, centrally located between Tahoe Vista and Kings Beach. Beautiful beach across the street. This place was absolutely beautiful, and charming, my wife and both loved it, clean, clean, and comforting. The one and only issue we had was our cabin neighbor smoked on his front porch, and it wafted over to our porch and cabin and encroached inside. Looking for modern, hi tech accommodations with the latest accoutrements? This ain't it. What it is started back in the 1920s, as a lumber camp and lodge for the Brockway Lumber Company. As the lumber business slowed, the property became a motor lodge, with small cabins ranging from tiny to medium sized, and a few houses that will sleep large...

My husband and I spent two very enjoyable days at Rustic Cottages with our small dog. We had made our reservations late so the only cabin available was the smallest one they have: the Bijou. That said, and limited space aside, the unit was clean and comfortable. We were given a peek at a few other cabins and saw that...

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to N. Lake Tahoe, staying at the Rustic Cottages. The accommodations were quaint, clean and fit our needs. The location was also great, as we were just across the street from the beach at Tahoe Vista. A hot breakfast was provided in the Lodge each morning. In addition, there were several family friendly amenities...

An amazingly good stay. Spent a few nights in the Lakeview cabin, next to the lodge. Breakfast was provided and fairly good. Staff was friendly and helpful on the local restaurants. Easy drive to the local attractions. Room was nice – king bed, small bathroom but manageable, gas fireplace that can quickly heat up the room. I would return when...

My wife and I, along with our two small dogs stayed at the Martis cottage last night. Among the pros: the provided breakfast was freshly cooked (at 8 am) with muffins, scrambled eggs, sausage, juices, waffles (pour and make your own), and cereal.
