Total Dump. Camping in your own tent in the rain with rabid bears nearby would be a better experience. Nobody around to help with check-in. Had to use phone to call "manager" for bill. Seen better bathrooms during tour of Alcatraz. Kids complained of bed smelling like old mans cologne. Pillows were that quaint off formerly white/yellow color. Mmmmm good!... More

My wife and I were looking for a safe and clean place to stay in the Tahoma area. We stayed at the Tahoe Lake Cottages and was very pleased overall. Although a little pricey compared to renting a house, it was just right for the two of us AND no cleaning fee!! When I say our cabin was clean I... More

You can find a house at Lake Tahoe to rent for the price we paid for this shack. The experience from arrival was an omen. No one was there to check us in. Outside the office is a wall mounted phone with a number to call. A man answered and said the key was on the desk and the cottage... More

We stayed in one of the motel rooms. It's tiny, no closet and not enough hooks to hang wet clothes after a day of skiing. The shower curtain doesn't really work and water does get all over the floor as other reviews have noted. However, it's clean, cheap, quiet and just a few miles from Homewood.

As previous reviewer stated, the motel rooms were TINY and the shower was a joke (Our friends staying in a 2-room cabin had the same awkward tiny shower with an inadequate curtain). We weren't expecting the ritz, but even with moderate expectations we were disappointed. Our room was heated by two space heaters, the bed was not firm, pillows were... More

The motel-style rooms are tiny. There was no closet and we had to hang our clothes on a hook on the wall. The bathroom has only a tiny shower with a disfuntional curtain - water got all over the bathroom floor. There was no maid service and no additional towels. The rooms overlooked a plot of dirt. On the positive... More

The pool was great! Nice and warm- the hot tub was warmer- nice and relaxing. Loved the bon fires- marshmellows and fluffy bunnies. Cabins REALLY are clean, cozy and comfortable. Really nice towels! For a relaxing Tahoe vacation "Tahoe Lake Cottages" is the place to go.
