My sister and I wine tasted. It happened not to be crowded which was nice. Our server was very personable and helpful. There was a large selection of wines although most reds were heavy. I drink lighter reds e.g. light pinot noirs. Afterwards we met our parents for lunch on the outside patio of their restaurant. The food was excellent....

Hi Linda A, Thank you for sharing your five-star review of South Coast Winery Resort & Spa. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the personalized tasting and lunch experience. The Pan Seared Skuna Bay Salmon dish is indeed delicious, especially when paired with the South Coast Sparkling Blanc de Blanc and enjoyed on the Vineyard Rose back veranda....

We stayed in the Villas with a Travel Zoo coupon. The Villas are beautiful, large, very comfortable and quiet, right in the middle of the vineyard. We enjoyed ourselves thorough and believe others would do so even if they do not go wine tasting. I recommend going anytime except during the summer when Temecula is generally very hot.

A wonderful get away. Right in the middle of beautiful green vineyards. We stayed in the villa which was like staying in a studio with all the amenities. It was so quiet that it was like a spiritual retreat. The Vineyard Rose restaurant for dinner and breakfast on the patio was wonderful. It felt like we were actually in Tuscany.

A wonderful place to stay in the middle of wine country. My wife and I stayed in one of the bungalows which had a patio amongst the vineyards where we could enjoy a bottle of wine as the sun was setting. Excellent pool and hot tub. Tasting room had security guards (??? weird) and the tasing room attendant at one point said "I am being watched" when asked by another customer if she could use 2 tickets for pours at once due to the lines. Nice "wine down" weekend after entertaining for Easter. Enjoyed the behind the scenes winery tour with Dennis and tasting. Restaurant food was very good. All employees encountered were very friendly. Loved staying in the villas. Felt like you were in in own hotel and parking was right outside your door. Definitely looking forward to another stay soon.

We signed up for the “Timeless Escape” package which includes a two night stay in the hotel tower, a massage for two at the resort’s GrapeSeed Spa, a Winemaker’s Lunch for Two, a wine tour for Two, plus a few other amenities. We upgraded our room to a premium villa suite, suite 3104. The upgrade was well worth the extra...

Stressed out and bored - we were in need of some quality time to unwind and enjoy a few days. South Coast Winery fit the bill perfectly. We stayed in a villa in April and had beautiful weather and surroundings. We enjoyed meals at the Vineyard Rose, inside and outside, plus a visit during Happy Hour, and room service once...
