Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home.
Not only because of the beautiful gite and garden, with all the luxury, relaxing and cosy atmosphere, but also because of the hospitality, Debbie's éxcellent cooking 😋, Rob's calmness, generosity and of course our day's fishing. The boys loved the games room where they enjoyed playing pool, darts and pingpong.
There's no doubt Rob en Debbie have an extraordinary place, in the beautiful rural Normandy countryside. Lots of things to do and to see, even when the weather is not as sunny and warm.
We will certainly go back!

This place is a gem. Beautifully situated in the Normandy countryside with stunning views, we stayed in the B&B. The rooms are spacious, characterful and clean. The beds are very comfortable! We had breakfast and dinner, Debbie is a phenomenal cook and so much comes from the garden! Fresh and tasty, and the warmest welcome! Can't recommend highly enough.

We have stayed in the gite for 2 weeks every year for the past 5 years, but this is the first year that we've missed due to moving overseas. The house and the grounds are beautiful, the gite is perfect and the area is wonderful. But what really makes La Crepelliere are it's hosts - Rob and Debbie! They are so friendly and can't do enough for you. Our kids (now 10 and 9) love them and all their animals, and love going to stay there. Debbie is a fantastic cook and they are both brilliant gardeners and grow as much of their own produce (and eggs) as they can. We can't recommend La Crepelliere enough, whether it's the gite or the Chambre d'Hotes.

We spent 2 relaxing nights with Debbie and Rob in their spotlessly clean and comfortable home. We enjoyed the gardens and meeting their goats, chickens, pig and other animals.
The rose room was lovely with quality bed linen and facilities to make hot drinks. I loved the shower room especially the window seat.
Debbie and Rob are brilliant hosts, so welcoming and friendly. We loved chatting with them and they had lots of local knowledge.
We enjoyed Debbie's evening meal so much we booked one for our second night. She is a very good cook and uses home produce or locally sourced food.
We shall definitely return to their oasis of calm and comfort.

Great place for families. Our kids loved the feeding the animals. The owners were really welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. It was a really convenient location for a stopover from Cherbourg. The local town was very interesting and had a good choice of restaurants. Would definitely return.

La Crepelliere was recommended to us for a three night stay, I can see why someone would be keen to recommend Rob and Debbie's lovely gite / B&B accommodation.
The venue is in an enviable position, close to great villages and towns but remote enough to enjoy this fantastic location.
The property is spotless and everything you need is there. We had dinner on the last night but had we known how nice it was, we would of eaten in every night.
The best part of our stay had to be the interaction with the animals, Rob encourages everyone to take part at feeding time!
Highly recommended for both short or long stays.

We (myself, my husband and our 18 month old toddler) stayed here for only one night. The property was really beautiful and the attention to detail second to none. The standards are extremely high, such as quality linen and full sized bath towels with all modern amenities.
The available facilities on site were good, a games room, swimming pool, lots of outdoor space and animals.
We arrived very late so did not have the opportunity to dine there but going by breakfast I can only guess it would be very good. The rhubarb compote on the Greek yoghurt was rather delicious.
Our only regret is that we stayed for only one night.

Was recommended this gem by friends and we weren't dissapointed. The property is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the b&b but were kindly shown around the gite by the lovely Rob and Debbie who made us feel like friends rather than guests..Will definitely be back in the summer. The grounds were immaculate even during winter months so cant wait to return to see it in full bloom. Property has everything you need for a pleasurable holiday inc swimming pool, games room and friendly animals which kids will adore feeding. Loved the double width granite staircase.

Absolutely delightful former farmhouse with equally delightful owners and the most amazing menagerie (hence my title). We spent only a single night there while travelling across northern France and wish we had had longer. Although geriatrics, we thoroughly enjoyed the lambs, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, etc, but didn't try the pool or games room. What would the grandchildren have made of it? We hope to find out by taking them there next year, possibly booking the adjacent Gite. Debbie and Rob are great hosts and their being English allowed our school French a night off. Highly recommended.
