Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed 3nights at this lovely B and B run by a very hard working couple who made us feel at home. The home is nicely decorated in an English style, and we were served a tasty English breakfast. The dinner options is quite delicious as well. Sandra is a great cook! It is a quiet setting where you can hear birds in the morning and enjoy Sandra’s garden full of beautiful flowers. Both Sandra and Geoff made sure our needs were met and gave us great advice on things to see. They speak both French and English, which was helpful for us since our French is rather lacking. It is not too far from beautiful places like Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation.

We stayed for 7 nights at Flowerpots and had a wonderful stay. The b&b is run by Sandra and Geoff who are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much for them. The b&b is spotless surrounded by the most lush gardens. As we were staying with our 2 children we decided to eat in every night. The meals were out of this world. Plentiful and tasty with lots of imagination. You certainly won’t go hungry here!
All Covid measures were also in place.
We will be going back.

'Flowerpots' has been restored by British owners, Sandra and Geoff and they have made a wonderful job of it. We took the 'Barn Suite, which has its own sitting room downstairs and upstairs the bedroom, shower room and balcony. Everything is immaculate. We took the suite because we didn't want to share a bathroom with other guests in the main house; though Sandra told me that she tries not to have two rooms sharing the bathroom, unless they are family or close friends. The photographs on the web site are exactly what you will see on arrival, no disappointments!. We had dinner cooked by Sandra, which was delicious and the wine just kept on flowing, to the point where we had to say "stop"!!! All included in the price of dinner. Our sat nav didn't quite get us to the right property first time. Remember to drive as far along the lane as you can go, then take the gate on the left. We could only stay one night because we were en route to the south, but really wished we could have had several days there. We will return....

Perfect Accommodation, Perfect Cuisine, Perfect Hosts, Perfect Location. We live in France and had decided to go away for a few days at Christmas, somewhere not too far, but near the Normandy Coast. Sandra and Geoff were happy for us to stay with them over the Christmas and it was a wonderful experience. We were wined and dined, Sandra is an excellent cook, and as we ate with them we really enjoyed their company. The accommodation was first class with good bathroom facilities, fresh fluffy towels every day and a very comfortable bed with beautiful linen. We stayed in the barn suite which is perfect for two and has its own entrance. We had everything we could need, even our own Christmas Tree and a cozy lounge in which to relax in front of a glowing wood fire. We were close to Granville so we walked along the beach on Christmas Day in bright sunshine. Perhaps I should add another 'P' - to us it was a Perfect Christmas!

Sandra and Geoff are such wonderful hosts. Treat yourself to Sandra's delicious dinner and Geoff's delightful humor and you will find yourself relaxing within minutes. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the clean, comfortable house they have beautifully remodeled. A very convenient location to many places in Normandy in a quiet country setting.

We stayed in the Barn Suite for three nights: never did we encounter so much warmth, friendlyness and hospitality as here in the Flowerpots.
Besides this, the home cooked dinners and Breakfast were a delight, and the wine and drinks were flowing generously!!
Spending time here was a everlasting joy, and we know now, we will return in near future.

Thank you, Sandra and Jeoff!!

We booked to stay at Flowerpots for two nights on our way to Benodet and wished we had booked for longer. We arrived after a long journey to a warm welcome in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was excellent and very clean throughout. The efforts that Sandra and Geoff have put in to make this a wonderful place just have to be seen and experienced to be appreciated. We booked our evening meals for the both nights and on the first night Sandra and Geoff ate with us and what a lovely evening we had. The food was superb - all four courses. On the second evening another family were staying and we spent another fantastic evening eating the wonderful food Sandra had cooked chatting with this lovely family. The crockery, cutlery and glassware used makes it even more special. We asked Sandra to prepare us a Panier to take with us which included fresh bread, Jam, herbs and a selection of vegetables from the garden - highly recommend this. It was all 'yummy' . All that is left to say is thank you to Sandra and Geoff for our wonderful stay and we will be back again.

We booked to stay for one night on a very late booking, having never stayed in a B & B in france before we did not know what to expect. The property is finished to a very high standard and a friendly welcome. We only stayed for one night and had dinner which was prepared and cooked by Sandra and again was brilliant. Part of the french tradition is either eating with the owners or another family that was booked, We met a lovely Family from Cardiff and had a great evening whilst being served excellent food and wine for the whole evening. A new experience for us and very enjoyable.
We will definelty be back again.

Want to experience an exceptional B&B....this is the place. Geoff and Sandra have combined their talents in area of design, construction, décor, hospitality and landscaping to make this a very special stay. We stayed two nights, at the end of May, with two adult grandchildren who had never visited a B&B. I am sure every guest is given the same special care that we received. There were fresh cut flowers in the bedrooms. A welcoming fire, in the huge fireplace, greeted us each evening. Sandra's delicious and artfully presented meals surpassed any of the other meals on our five week European vacation. A true labor of love has gone into the creation of Sandra and Geoff's lovely home and property. They are gifted hosts making their guests feel right at home. We highly recommend a stay and would book again if in the area.
