Wonderful food served in a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff added to the dining experience. The filet steak was cooked to perfection. Very reasonable prices more than worth the drive to get there. We will be back ... the sooner the better.

We are over from USA, visiting family, and we were invited to dinner last night at The Sorn Inn. It had been recommended to us, and we were very surprised and impressed by the menu and the quality of our meals. Tucked away in this lovely little village, we were greeted by a lovely, fun and cheerful waiter. Pheasant was...

We went her for tea menu was nice not to much to choose from but enough, we all tried different starters and I would certainly recommend the cauliflower Crockett, the olives starter was a bit of a let down just a big bowl of olives. But to be fair on the menu it did say Olives ( nothing else ),...

This was my second visit to The Sorn Inn. The food was delcious and the menu is extensive. Several of our party chose to have the roast beef and it was lovely. Gorgeous meat and very good sides (veg, roast potatoes and yorkshires). The staff are very friendly and have a wee chat when you're ordering. The restaurant has a...

My wife and I stopped here while in Scotland. It was a great place and very convenient to the city center. We didnt stay at the hotel but did visit the pub inside. Great fish and chips and the beer was cold.

Room was extremely spacious and comfortable along with everything that was required to make the overnight very pleasant. Had a meal on the Saturday evening - rib eye was sumptuous, both in quantity and quality. Sunday breakfast was spot-on followed by a late lunch, which was absolutely delicious. Friendly owner plus staff who were attentive and delivered a first class...

Visited the restaurant for an evening meal and ordered the New York styled rib eye steak. I have eaten in the Sorn Inn many times but have only recently tried their rib eye steak. It is served for two people at a cost of £39, good value for money at under £20 each. I have eaten in many Michelin starred...

We went for lunch to celebrate a birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better meal. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which surpassed any expectations. We all agreed it was the best meal any of us had eaten in a long time. Contrary to the experience of one reviewer we'd heartily disagree on the opinion about both...

Myself and my best friend decided to drive to the countryside for lunch. We chose the Sorn Inn as was recommended. The place is a lovely, quaint Scottish Inn surrounded by the beautiful countryside. Good was fantastic and service was efficient and very friendly.
