Beautiful location and campground. We only stayed 1 night but still loved the location and accommodations provided. The house was specious with a large deck for grilling. There is also a nice pool and the recreation building/area. If you like the wilderness with a hint of domestic comfort, you will enjoy the stay.

We had a three day family reunion at the Lazy Z. Everyone loved it so much we are already thinking about going back. The grounds are beautiful and the clubhouse has everything you could ask for. The staff was very friendly and helpful from booking eight months ago until the end of the weekend. Meagan was amazing making sure everything...

There were 50+ people in our group for a family reunion and it was an ideal location for all age groups. There is a great lodge for indoor activities and also large outdoor activity area. Wonderful water "feature" plus pool table and ping pong to keep everyone busy. Great kitchen facilities too.

I loved this out of the way destination. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The grounds and cabin are beautiful. The owner and staff are very responsive. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

The four of us had Juniper Lodge 5 a red wood cabin on two levels and like the other lodges deep in the woods and away from civilisation. Rather dated accomodation, very 'brown and beige' interior but a real living in the woods feel to the whole place. The clubhouse is full of history and various extra facilities. The water-feature/pool...

Clean, quaint, and quiet. Pool and water feature was great. Young kids enjoyed all. Nearby restaurants great. Fun things to do in Sonora and Columbia...and even Jamestown. Fun for all ages...gold panning , hikes, etc...

We found Lazy Z on the internet and reserved a cabin for 2 nights for our family of four. The cabin was just right for us, and unlike other reviews I've read here saying the cabins were small, we are a large family, literally: hubby 6'6", 350, me 6' 300, and the kids are over 5' tall. All I can...

We stayed in a cabin for four days with four of us sharing. The room was so small we couldn't move around with all four of us standing up. There were extremely limited amenities, including a tiny bathroom. The site wasn't close to anything, driving is essential. Not close to Yosemite- about 2 hours drive away. We had a problem...

The cabin would probably be ok designed for 2 people, but was extremely cramped for 4. There was a double and 2 bunk beds, leaving very little other floor space. There is a microwave, outside barbecue and a toaster, but the cabin is too small to cook in or for 4 to eat in. I would expect such a remote...

“The cabins are fine for a family of up to 4. There are twin bunk beds and a full mattress on a platform. I would plan to BBQ or go out for dinner. The fridge is dorm size and their is a small microwave. Cabin #3 had three rooms (one "outside" removed from the main house with a day bed to sleep 2), full kitchen, living room area with fireplace, and a king bed in the master, and two twin beds in the other bedroom. There is also a two-story cabin that sleeps 8.”
