Nice boutique style in West Hollywood. Plenty of character, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. I stayed for Halloween so ideally located for West Hollywood Halloween festivities. Nice neighbourhood with plenty of coffee shops and places to eat nearby.

Perfect localization, Confortable rooms, and....the roof top (with a pool) for sun rising !! Spanish Style, very good breakfast or more on the roof in a "Wilde Garden". Friendly people. Très cool. Allez-y !

Staff, amenities, atmosphere, and neighborhood are all fantastic and the overall experience was second to none. Reminiscent of the late great Chelsea hotel in NYC, Petite Ermitage really takes hospitality one step further by touching each aspect of the experience with an extra level of artistry and finesse. One of the finest experiences for people visiting Los Angeles, and a...

Faulty shower head, and there aren't to many choices on the rooftop restaurant menu but other than that it was magical. It is one of the few places you can go to in the city that feels like it's in another country. Beautiful atmosphere. Ultra romantic. An oasis from the city within the city. A great place to getaway without...

One of the worst hotel I stayed after traveling all over the world. The rooms are dirty, carpet is black in many places. Have problems with the reservation 5 nights but after two nights they asked me to change rooms to the same type of room for no reason. They claim the room I had was a junior suite but...

Dear Juan Carlos, Sometimes in life things (and people) just don’t work out the way we hoped they would. We have tried our best to fix any concerns you had during your stay and I guess my follow up call inviting you to come back was not good enough. At this point there is nothing else that can be done....

The hotel was lovely enough unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so the reason I chose this hotel which was for the rooftop pool and lounge area we were not able to take advantage of and if the weather is not great there's really no other place to hang out except for in your room. Overall our stay was good...

Petit Ermitage is private and beautiful. The hallways smell like a rose garden. The executive suite is perfect with its foliage covered balcony, fireplace and grand bathroom. It'll be hard for me to stay anywhere else in Los Angeles from now on.

Pros - Great location, nice atmosphere, great rooftop lounging and dining. Cons - Beds not ideal for two adults, too small. Bathroom a disappointment vs the price (door didn't close properly, bath itself looked cheap and small'ish). Woken up by someone coming into our room late evening to fix the fire (he was told the room was empty apparently). Also...

As soon as you walk into Petit Ermitage, the wonderful smell of the lit candles hits you and it sets the scene for your stay. The boutique hotel is very unique in its offering, from its decor, smell and atmosphere. The room was quite large and had a remote fireplace as well as a small kitchenette. The gym was small...

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
