Fashioned after a private pied-a-terre, Petit Ermitage offers guests an intimate sanctuary in which to take refuge from the bustling city of Los Angeles. Nestled on a quiet street in West Hollywood, but located just steps from the Sunset Strip, Petit features an extensive art collection, eclectic European antiques, custom-crafted mattresses, 618 thread count sheets, in-room fireplaces, balconies and hand-woven Turkish carpets. The Private Rooftop - replete with native gardens, a salt water pool, cabanas, an outdoor sunken fireplace and 360 degree views of the Hollywood Hills - is considered one of the premiere dining spaces in LA.

Neighbourhood
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.

I've been remiss in writing reviews on TA as I've traveled around, stayed places, eaten at restaurants, done things, etc. but i just need to pause to contribute again to recommend "The Petit"...I think a few attempted "copycats" have crept up in the area and so I just have to

My wife and I stayed at Petit Ermitage last week while visiting our son in West Hollywood. The hotel literally defines what a boutique, family run hotel aspires to be--a personal, albeit unusual experience! From the Tim Burton-esque design aesthetic, to the incredible collection

My boyfriend and I have been members for quite some time, and in recent years we had stopped visiting the roof deck as frequently simply because we no longer enjoyed the food. We heard recently that they hired a new chef to revamp the menu, so we grabbed a few friends and did a

Dear tfsbike, thank you for your lovely review!! I am happy that our Petit family was able to make you leave with a smile and that you found your "new home" in LA. Sergio will receive a little goody from his manager, so thank you for mentioning him. I in person enjoyed your comment about our rooms as you are right, it is an older building and was build in the 1970's as an apartment building. Ownership transformed the building in the 1980's into a very charming boutique hotel. Please feel free to contact me directly under nancy@petitermitage.com if your travels bringing you back to us! Take care and all the best from the Petit Family.
