I booked the Sherlock Holmes room for our daughter to have after her upcoming nuptials (September 17th 2016). I spoke to "John" who is the point of contact for this Inn prior to doing so and he advised it had to be done via the website only, which I did. I now need to cancel this reservation as my daughter... More

Basically, it comes down to the breakfast (or lack of it). Our booking "breakfast included", and a picture on the Inn's website of "The dining room", with tables and chairs for a couple and for a group of four, led us to think (not unreasonably) that there would be breakfast provided on site. What you get is a voucher for... More

Staying at the Abbey Inn was, by far, one of the sweetest experiences I've had yet. it offers a comfortable, quiet ambiance. Nicely appointed and furnished without the usual clutter and busyness at most B&B's including upgraded bedding made for a peaceful night's sleep. The entire Inn is spotless, well kept, immaculate. Loved being able to access the kitchen anytime... More

We needed to get off the road after a long day on the motorcycle. Our journey is a 3200 miles excursion from Albuquerque to Vancouver. Due to high winds headed into the central coast and found this little gem. What a fantastic b&b and charming town. John the owner was very gracious and met us onsite without a reservation. Very... Bruce hosted 10 of our friends at the Abbey House Inn and it couldn't have been more lovely. The hotel was adorable, and perfect for our needs. All our friends who stayed felt right at home. Bruce also helped us host a cocktail hour before dinner and even took pictures of us all celebrating.

We were fortunate to have this whole little victorian cottage to ourselves during our stay. We stayed in the De Winters suite. The wrap porch was so nice to sit in there in both afternoon and evening and enjoy a cup of tea. It was really nicely decorated, jetted tub in bath is nice and the private entrance is a... More

What a lovely place to stay for our girls weekend. The Inn has 5 bedrooms, each with their own bath (3 with jetted tubs) plus a loft. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with starched linens and fluffy towels. The Inn is fully restored with modern conveniences (like great bathroom lighting, good shower water pressure/temp and a/c) but retains the turn of... More

“The Sherlock Holmes suite was where we stayed on the first floor and right off the dining room yet quiet.”

“I stayed in the Ophelia room. It is the smallest room and at the front of the Inn. The size is adequate, cozy not claustrophobic.”

“I Selected the "Bernhardt Suite". Charming all the way down to the door hinges! This room has two (2) sinks; one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom. It has a place to set your luggage on as well as a small dresser with drawers if you want to unpack. Plenty of room to hang your clothes and has a coat rack. There is a chair in the room for sitting. The night stands had lamps as well as flame less candles which I used as a night light. Although this suite was upstairs, the room temperature was perfect. Not too hot and not too cold. Great night(s) sleep!”
