We have stayed at five branches twice in past year. Facilities are great, but the people are just plain mean, especially to children and anyone under 40 years old. The old man runs the place like a dictatorship. He screamed at two 7 year olds in our group and threatened to throw them and their families out of the campground... More

We just spent Labor Day weekend at Five Branches Campground and really enjoyed it. I have read Some of the previous reviews and didn't find anyone to be rude . We have a great spot in the shade. The lake was low but that's beyond their control as its drained through the summer for irrigation . My husband and brother... More

We have been to Five Branches several times for Labor Day weekend-family get-togethers! There is a small play ground, a horseshoe pit and a lovely outdoorish (yes I made this word up) place where the staff sell a home made breakfast on Sundays and some Mondays(like Labor Day weekend). The staff here keep things ship-shape and keep the crowds in... More

We were so disappointed with our stay at the 5 branches RV park. The park charged us an extra $10 for arriving one hour early even though there was no one in our camp site nor were they performing any work to the site. My brother was not allowed to leave his boat at the RV park so I could... More

I have stayed at Five Branches two different times... August of 2013 and 2015. I agree with the reviewers who stated that they were not informed about the depth of the reservoir in 2013. Having stayed several times at Vallecito, I was very upset that no one told me when making a reservation a week earlier that I would need... More

We have been coming to 5branches for many years. We love the park. The fishing this year was excellent. As always Jan and Bob were welcoming. We get to see old friends and make many new friends. We are waiting to see the outcome for the park and hope that we will have another year to come back to a... More

My family and I have been coming to Five Branches for many years! Currently the water level of the lake is the highest it has been in the last 2- 3 years. Fishing from the lakefront is ok wish it was better, but what can you do. Trolling seems to be yielding better results. The campground is always very clean.... More

Well, what can I say. When you make your reservation they are sure to tell you the fishing is great! What they don't tell you is how far you have to walk to get to the water. The lake is soooo low. I bought an annual fishing license because of how great the fishing was supposed to be, in fact... More

This is a place that we have visited many times, however over the last couple of time the park has turned from fun to horrible. First off the staff in the front office are VERY rude to the paying customers. Just above the door as you are about to exit is a sign that reads "Remember we are not all... More

We chose this campground based on their website and list amenities. We booked a year ahead, but called to check verify our reservation and amenities 5 weeks prior to our scheduled arrival. We chose this park because of their location and because they had a boat ramp and buoy for rent that was directly in sight from your RV site.... More
