Room was clean and cheap and it was late, Piled all the luggage and chairs in front of the door. Kept my socks on all the time. Slept okay, turned out to be quiet. If you must stop in this town this is a cheap solution, and only had to drive 1 mile for coffee. Room had wifi but no...

I have never seen a messier front office at a motel. My thought was, they must be in the process of moving. But then I read the TripAdvisor reviews from 2014 and... I guess this has been going on for some time. Meanwhile my room was very clean and appealing. With a front window that opens and a window in...

I stayed here the other night before our ice fishing trip. Very clean and spacious room. Only problem I had was how long it took the room to heat up and no coffee pot. Office staff very friendly. If your looking for a place to crash your head and shower before hiking, fishing, hunting or whatever else Buena Vista has...

Once a year I go to the mountains with my grown-up children to spend the weekend hunting and and watching the wildlife in Are around Buena Vista Colorado, when we're there we stay at the Best Western Sumac Lodge. Theven motel is an older one but has been updated, it's always clean, comfortable and the staff is always friendly and...

I got completely lost on side dirt roads outside Buena Vista while looking for the place I had reserved. As it got dark and frightening, I gave up and went to the Great Western Sumac Lodge for the night, and was much helped and calmed by the woman in the office. She helped me get the info I needed for...

For the low price, it can't be beat. It's clean, has good WiFi and it's right on the main road so it's easy to find and near all the restaurants. It doesn't have a breakfast, nor coffee in the room or fridge or microwave but for a place to sleep, it's not bad.

We rented three rooms one night -- the room with three double beds was really outdated, with thin worn-out sheets, old mattresses, and old carpeting. The bathroom looked clean, though details like dust/dirt in the corners made it look like it had been a long time since it had been thoroughly cleaned or updated. The odd thing however is that...

Yes this is an older motel but i was pleased with the cleanliness of the room. It was also spacious. Queen bed was soft. TV had HBO when I just wanted to veg out. Huge bathroom area [for a motel]. Extra pillows. I was so glad to have caught the office before it closed as I had no idea if...

We have stayed ther for a few years now and it is always clean and comfortable. It is outdated, but we only sleep there and watch tv. We used to stay at the best western until they got outrageous on their prices. And they take lets. We never leave home without the dog. The manager/owner has always been great to us....

We have stayed several times and we are not disappointed. The office is a mess, good thing the rooms don't look that bad. The room is always clean and the water pressure is super. The towels are nice and fluffy. It would be nice to have a mini fridge and/or microwave. The room we stay in surely has plenty of...
