Once you get over the ride up to the Hotel (New road under construction) what awaits you is pure luxury. From a room that offers all the expected high quality equipment and amenities of a 5+ star hotel. My room had both an inside and outside shower a 4 poster bed plenty of space for clothes, a lounge sofa and...

From cabin #20 we could sit on our secluded back porch and listen to the river below. Because of the dense jungle we couldn't see it but it was a 20 minute walk down their private trail to a river swimming hole. Hotel pool/hot tubs and restaurant are steps away from this cabin. Large king size bed with both indoor...

Dear dunkirkal, How lovely to hear from you! Many guests such as yourselves love the proximity to the Rio Celeste River from their casitas. It really is a luxury to be right on the river's edge after a short walk and without leaving the hotel's property. All of our guest rooms have outdoor showers, a feature that our visitors enjoy....

Once you have recovered from the potentially scary ride up some very narrow and slippy roads up to this hotel you can appreciate its loveliness. The rooms are huge and the balcony is great. Ours didn't have a view as such but was part of the jungle. Shared spaces are great and the food was very good. Lovely nature trails...

Dear Guildford02, So happy to hear you were wowed by our guest rooms! The Balinese inspired decor in our casitas, and their expansive open living area with outdoor shower and balconies facing the jungle are one of our best features. My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Lush grounds are well kept and the buildings are large and welcoming. Our king casita (#7) was just as pictured, with an excellent mattress and bedding. Staff was exceedingly pleasant and helpful - we enjoyed our interactions with everyone from the front desk to the waitstaff (even the friendly security...

(Unfortinately) We only stayed one night at this resort, but wished it could have been longer. Our king-sized room (#21) was fantastic and backed into the forest (and river). We were treated to the sounds of birds, and howler monkeys. The hotel is decorated in a rich Polynesian theme throughout. Our room had both indoor and outdoor showers - the...
