We stayed in the Hooper's wonderfully comfy and quiet one-bedroom suite, complete with fully appointed kitchenette, bathroom, sitting room and dining areas. The holiday decor throughout the Homestead (both inside and out!) was just magical, though I know for a fact that the proprietor's amazing hospitality extends all year round! The beauty of the mountain setting and the intriguing history...

We stayed here for one night and truly enjoyed our stay. The room is comfortable & quiet and the breakfast the next day was awesome. Truly wonderful people and we will definitely stay there again and have referred it to our friends and family.

Much nicer than a regular bed and breakfast, we enjoyed our queen suite a lot more than a hotel room also. Richard and Jesse were warm and welcoming. Very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed interacting with them and other guests.

I stayed one weekend night with my mom just before Halloween. I wish it could've been for a week! The decorations were extensive and spooky! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, especially the sheepdog Watson. I could spend all day in the bright and warm sun room reading books on the rich local history and watching the wildlife. They...

This is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed two nights and loved it. It was so peaceful and relaxing here. The Suite we stayed in (Coeur d’Alene Suite) Was very cozy. The bed was so comfortable. The hospitality was great and Jesse and Richard went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome and comfortable. They even carried...

Just wanted a retreat from the city for my birthday and I discovered this absolute jewel in Central City. The owners were warm and welcoming the moment I arrived. Breakfast was delicious and the camaraderie around the table was so very comfortable. I've already made my reservation for next year's birthday!

My wife and I decided to get away from the city for a couple days and decided to give the Hooper Homestead B&B a try and are so happy that we did! It is nestled just above the city of Central City and Black Hawk, surrounded by beautiful groves of aspen trees. We stayed in the Sleep Hollow Suite which...

We were attending a wedding at Pickle Gulch campground when the hotel/casino we booked emailed us the day before our trip that no children were allowed. We called Hooper Homestead and talked with Richard and Jesse (the Proprietors) and they were gracious enough to squeeze us in last second. The location was beautiful with Halloween decorations including a little gargoyle...

This is a very quaint, delightful B&B. We stayed here due to ridiculous prices at the casinos , and were pleasantly surprised. The owners were delightful, friendly and more than accommodating. The room was clean with fresh flowers, with a combination of antique meets modern. The home cooked breakfast was amazing, with a variety of choices. The chocolate waffles, with...
