Deb and Lynn are gracious hosts and their home is beautiful. I just got back from spending a week there with my family and they made sure we felt at home. Everything was clean and well maintained, and they took great care of us. I highly recommend starting with them if you get the chance!

My husband Charles and I were visiting family in Hotchkiss/Paonia area and decided to stay at the French Country Inn. My husband is a private pilot in the State of Ohio and found this B&B a great place as there is an air strip there. Lynn French took my husband on a private tour and Charlie was very appreciative. If you would like to spend a day or more exploring the less-visited and more interesting North Rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, this is the perfect home base. It would also be a great destination for a peaceful getaway in itself. As others have said, rooms are beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and comfortable with gorgeous views of... More

What a gem of a find! Deb and Lynn were super hosts and made sure everything was to our liking. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Deb is an outstanding chef to provide delicious breakfasts. Lynn made sure the coffee was ready when we came downstairs for breakfast. This is a perfect quiet get away.

We were so welcomed by Debra & Lyn that by our third day we felt like family. We loved the setting, the views, the warmth, but as a bonus, Debra is an outstanding chef! What a great way to start our day, visiting while our gourmet breakfast was being prepared, the aroma filling the kitchen & our souls. Thank you... More

We stayed here for a weekend wedding in Crawford and were very happy with everything. The word among the out-of-towners there for the wedding was that we by far found the best place to stay. Lynn & Debra were very friendly and attentive. Had a great breakfast one morning, but unfortunately had to skip it the next day as we... More

This is as good a bed & breakfast as my wife & I have ever stayed at. The views are outstanding, the service top drawer, the rooms immaculate, & includes a top-notch perk of wine & cheese on one of the outside decks every afternoon. Lynn & Debra French are perfectionists & it shows. Definitely stay here if you want... More

We stayed at the Inn on a trip from Crested Butte to the Black Canyon. They are a bit outside of Crawford by the airport. If that suggest the sounds of thunderous jets, forget it. Instead the airport is a small tarmac surrounded by fields with elk grazing and a few single engine planes and gliders. The Inn is a... More
