Everything about HLR is top notch. But what sets it apart is the personal service. When you arrive at the Ranch you already feel like family. The staff is amazing and we felt pampered from beginning to end. The food - simply awesome. Dinners with a staff host were a really nice touch. Pictures from the day up on the... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our five day visit. We had read all of the amazing reviews and were hopeful that the ranch would live up to our expectations. They were indeed exceeded in every way. The property itself is spectacular and is managed to keep it that way forever. The staff was beyond nice and accommodating, they truly... More

It is for us. We've visited six other ranches around the West and all had something special to offer But this is the best we've ever experienced! The people, the riding, the scenery, the location, the horses were all outstanding. The really big surprise was the food. This wasn't just ranch food-this was top big city restaurant food and lots... HLR is home to the most wonderful set of people you could imagine; nothing is too much trouble and the kindness and thoughtfulness of all the team has to be seen to be believed. The horse riding, fishing, shooting, rafting, dancing, laughter and food were all 5* (or better) and my only complaint was that we had to leave.... Much... More
