Although it was last September when we stayed here,I thought I would share with anyone who is looking for a decent hotel at a reasonable price for the next holiday season. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good quality room with very comfortable bed...More
We have stayed here a couple of times while visiting Denver. Lower priced than places closer to downtown, it still has easy access. Everything was clean and neat. There was a large group of high school students staying the same night we did, but I...More

Thank you very much for the kind review. Judging from your review, I think I know exactly when you were visiting us. I'm very happy that the weather was good so that you can enjoy that lovely view from our west tower. Thank you...More
Arrived at 3am. $198 plus tax total $230 for a few hours sleep. Not cool! But the WiFi was fast and free. Bed was good with better than average linings. I could not get receipt for the night. They had no paper. REALLY.
It was odd to enter the room and stand right in front of the bathroom sink. It's located outside of bathroom. The room was big, dark and kind of dated, but it was clean and fulfilled my demands. It's far from downtown Denver if you...More
We stayed in this hotel last week- it was not a pleasant experience. At all! The room seemed OK, until we wanted to shower, or sleep- 2 basic things one rents a hotel room to do. The bathroom was really shabby, worn, and not clean....More

We took the train/light rail to stop, where the hotel shuttle picked us up. Just be very clear about which stop/intersection they are going to pick you up at. We had some miscommunication, got off the train too early, and had to wait for the next one, to reboard, after a phone conversation informed us we were too far from the hotel yet, for the driver to pick us up. The train costs a flat 9 dollars each. See website and railmap on the website rtd-denver lightrail website. (I tried to embed URL, but Trip advisor won't allow it.)
You will change trains at Union Station to H,E or F lines and get off at Colorado Ave. All 3 lines stop there, they just run at different times. There is some walking to do at Union station to find the desired platform, so be sure you can lug your luggage OK. There is space on the train for luggage.

What is the approximate cost to get downtown by Uber or taxi? How long of a drive is it?

It was about $10-15 for an uber into downtown, depending on where you are heading. The drive was quick but finding parking in downtown Denver was a nightmare.
