We the People of Hostel Fish believe that a hostel of backpackers, by backpackers, and for backpackers, shall be a fun, safe, spotless, high-end joint that is Classy as F...(ish!). We are focused on the traveler and the traveler's needs and believe something being affordable should still offer exemplary service and more than expected perks. We believe that shared rooms and neo-urbanism, when combined, create an epicenter for those "seekers of life's adventures" to meet each other and foster new friendships. We're stoked to host you. We're jazzed to have you as our guest. We're here for you and always want to hear your thoughts or suggestions on how we can improve your experience. We're located in the historic Airedale Building in the HEART of downtown Denver. Walking distance to major Denver attractions, Hostel Fish is steps from Coors Field, minutes from the trendy RiNo district, and surrounded by amazing night life.

I stayed on a Monday night in the indie glow room, which is a 4 bunk rm. The hostel is clean, well organized, with social events and amenities nearby. They have a fulll bar in the common area. Ophelia’s bar and restaurant is downstairs, which is a little load, but you can

I had a private room for one night (Thursday), and while the room its self was adorable, it was incredibly loud (other guests, no insulation?) until about 3am. Which was unfortunate as I needed to wake up at 4:30 am to catch my flight. Temprature of the room was difficult to

Stayed for a night during my drive from Los Angeles to D.C. During my trip, I stayed at a number of other hotels, motels, and friend's homes. This was my favorite stay of the trip! I came in around 6pm, and after a simple check-in, I found myself in the hostel's in-house bar

I stayed 2 nights. Location was nice,10min from union station. Staff was good. The only thing was, someone occupied my bed on 2nd night. Was it due to hostel's management system? What was worse, my smart phone charger which I put it on my bed was lost. I wonder if cleaning staff

Is there free breakfast?
Hiya Theresa, We are located right in the heart of downtown with amazing breakfast spots around our area. However, we do not offer complimentary breakfast. We do have a communal kitchen where you are able to bring back food to cook. Hope this helps! (Thanks also to 214G for the reply!)

How do you get there from the airport on RTD? What is the fare?
The RTD A line departs Denver international with a destination of union station. The hostel is within walking distance. The fare is $9 and I highly recommend downloading their app so that you can purchase the ticket in advance and bypass the long kiosk lines.

Hostel Fish does weekly pub crawls, weekend open mics, and drinking games in the bar. There's a community board to add activities you're interested in, and our lounge is a great way to meet fellow travelers and set some plans!

I believe so. In the dorm rooms, 6-8 bunks?there were lockers but I think u need a lock. You can always call them up! It's a very cool place and close to everything. Maybe bring earplugs.

Denver has excellent public transit and it is easy to navigate without a car. I would skip the car unless you need it to get to remote outlying areas. The sleeping and indoor common areas at the Hostel are non-smoking; you can easily avoid marijuana if you want/need to, just don't go to outdoor smoking areas or to private homes where it is being used. I did not encounter it at all during two rwcent trips to Denver.
