The people that operate this Ranch are top notch. Jeanne and her crew are just lovely people. Dad turned 70 so naturally a dude ranch. The wranglers, the fly fisherman, the servers, cooks, housekeepers, are super friendly, sincere, wonderful sense of humor and great at anticipating needs. Many of us were uncertain about how much we might enjoy the riding,... More

Rooms are in spacious, newer log cabins with front and back porches. Very clean with housekeeping services everyday. Special in-room touches include chocolate suckers shaped like horses, candy jar, Keurig machine in room, small fruit basket and cookies for snacking. The food is great...comfort foods like pasta, grilled chicken, BBQ ribs, flank steak, apple pie, peach cobbler and beef tenderloin... More

Three generations of my family visited Colorado Trails Ranch in August 2016 and we all had an outstanding time. The week exceeded my expectations. The staff was top notch and the manager is clearly gifted in running the operations. Horse program: The horse operation was really impressive. There are plenty of horses and they are well cared for. They roam... More

We have visited a lot of ranches across the US. We generally pick a ranch near a national park that we want to visit too. This year Mesa Verde was on our list - and we found a jewel of a ranch. Each ranch offers a unique experience - scenery, riding, horses, other activities, staff, kids/teen programs, food. lodging. When... More

The room we stayed in was brand new, large and comfortable with a nice porch and deck. The setting is spectacular. The best part was the help. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The horses can be intimidating for the uninitiated but not at CTR! The wranglers were skilled, friendly, helpful and patient. We had... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the ranch last week and am already dreaming about a return trip. The ranch looks as if it is a Hollywood set for a perfect Colorado Ranch. Every view is breath taking. The cabin that I stayed in looked as if it was brand new. Very comfortable bed, large bathroom. Loved sleeping with... More

I stayed for 4 days. It was relaxing and I didn't want to leave. Suggestion to bring your fat pants and your sense of adventure. Food is awesome. Staff treats you like family. They are polite and make every moment special. If you have never ridden a horse, fished or shot a gun. No worries they will teach you. Can't... More

We recently attended a 3 day fund raiser at Colorado Trails. The entire property is breath taking. The facilities clean, modern and very comfortable and the food to die for. As for the staff... Well we have no words except "banana nuts and crayons!" (Sorry but that was an inside joke.) They were all fabulous, courteous, pilot, patient and entertaining!!... More

What a glorious place to unplug and unwind! The cabins are spacious, the grounds fun and convenient, Chef Brian's food outstanding, and the staff is unbelievably warm and gracious. From the minute we arrived we were part of the ranch family and each and every staff member went out of their way to do whatever it took to ease the... More
