    Came to Durango for a weekend getaway with my wife and daughter. Hotel staff was very friendly and even had a christmas cookie decorating station setup for a coupe hours each evening. Room was very clean and breakfast was very good.

    We are so thrilled you enjoyed your stay. Colorado is beautiful and we are excited you enjoyed what we have to offer here as well. We are 3/4 mile from the downtown area and a great value.     Polar Express hotel stay
    We had a great experience at the Best Western Durango Inn & Suites. They had cookie decorating for the kids, which went very well with my grandkids. Breakfast each morning was delicious, the entire staff was most accommodating. Thank you for the great trip experience

    Does the down town trolley run to the hotel?
    Yes, the downtown trolley does run to our hotel. There is a stop right in front of the hotel.

    Is there a suite where pets are not allowed? I prefer hotels that don't allow pets.
    I keep thinking this I have responded to your request! We do allows pets. If you are looking for an Inn without pets I would highly recommend the Best Western Mountain Shadows or the Best Western Rio Grande. We do not have rooms that we do not allow pets. Hope that helps! Happy travels.
